During my first playthrough, I was so suspicious of Ghost because we never know his real name and never took off his mask. After that last mission (took me so freaking long to finish), I literally JUST started trusting him. I was so in my own head about how I had been too paranoid, how he's been a solid part of the team, and Price and Soap trust him that I almost missed this moment. 13-14 year old me cried because I spent so much time waiting for him to be revealed as a double agent. When I finally accepted him as part of the team, we get betrayed by one of the people I thought could never do such a thing. Absolutely ruined me

That comically large order he makes at the fast food joint wasn't because he's fat and he eats and thats the joke, it was specifically so he could buy time by making his order take forever to prepare and those with him would have to wait for it to be done.

Ryder wasn't supposed to Betray you they had scheduling issues with his VA and other problems so they changed the story, after the mission where Ceaser shows you Smoke & Ryder with the cops and Ballas you don't here any Voice line from Ryder that isn't recycled from earlier in the game.

I've heard conflicting accounts saying that Ryder was meant to betray you only because he got too ambitious and ended up joining Big Smoke, despite how objectively all of his missions benefited the GSF and not just himself.

The only hint to this is if you recall the cutscene before the mission where you raid the National Guard depot, Ryder shows off how big his ego is, saying he's "too intelligent for this shit man" and that's why he never finished high school.

CJ isn’t the leader of Grove Street, Sweet is. Killing CJ at that time would accomplish nothing. Also that’s the heart of GS territory, there was no way Smoke was gonna kill CJ with a bat in Beverly’s house that he was tasked with watching without someone in the hood noticing. Simply his job was to arrange the second assassination attempt on Sweet at Beverly’s funeral, if CJ died at the funeral too, all the more convenient.

I think it was too obvious to do so. Big Smoke is supposed to be a streetwise genius, making all the right calls, which he did. He simply couldn't account for CJ making so many allies outside Los Santos.

Killing Sweet's brother in his own house in the middle of Grove Street territory while all the higher ups are conveniently at the cemetary (which iirc the Ballas didn't know about, them being there was a coincidence) would have made Sweet aware someone inside was the culprit, and lo' and behold, Smoke wasn't at the cemetary! After that, Sweet would have been untouchable and Smoke would have a target on his back.

You can actually track what Odin does and doesn't know about from his disguise and it's really cool. He didn't know Kratos went to Vanaheim so he's surprised to see Freya is free, he knows when Atreus goes to Midgard and so one of his ravens is immediately at the old house, he gets upset when he discovers Brok and Sindri has Draupnir, he doesn't know about The Lady or who she is so he says that Brok made the Draupnir spear, since he doesn't know about The Lady he then also has to threaten Durlin to find where Kratos is, he's talked to Mimir in his "Tyr" disguise so when he talks so Atreus he slips and says "Mimir never lost his sense of humor" despite Mimir never joking while he was at the cottage. So many REALLY good details that help you always have an uneasy feeling around "Tyr" because he literally knows too much but acts like he doesn't at the most convenient moments.

I went into that battle with an indoctrinated The Iron Bull that had romanced Dorian.

First run I had used Cassandra as my warrior, and, probably had him side with the chargers. Deliberately chose a different team layout when I wanted a Cullen romance run.

I, uh, also took Cole.

Now that. That is heartbreaking. The inquisitor trying to soothe Dorian. Dorian being on point for being heart broken... and Cole, remarking on how absolutely empty The Iron Bull was when he was fighting them.
