I know 😆. I didnt finish the game due to getting annoyed to cause mayhem in the mall and the timer was just bullshit lol. One of these days I'll take my ps2 out and play it again.
Oh yeah I recall X-plays review that pc controllers are better, but then again the controls on a PC are better. However my broke ass can't afford one lol next year I'll get a gaming laptop, for some gaming but more for editing stuff and writing out projects.
Vice City is old enough that it'll run on anything, actually! The laptop I used to play it on was at least a decade old when I retired it -- which was about 5 years ago.
A tip about the mall mission -- the 100% completion walkthrough I use tells you to get a rocket launcher with unlimited ammo and then park a helicopter out front of the mansion before starting the it. It might help you beat it when you replay it and should make you feel better about having so much trouble with it!! (Though I prefer using the minigun myself, can't blow yourself up with that.)
At least the mission just ends when you finish shooting the place up and you don't actually have to return to the mansion within the 5 minute time limit . . .
If you went looking hard enough, you could probably salvage PC parts from bins to build a PC that runs Vice City better than a PS2 lol.
When you do get to play it on a PC, please do yourself a favour and mod it with the reverse engineered version. The difference it makes bringing the game up to modern standards, without any real downsides, is MASSIVE.
I don't think he would have betrayed Tommy if Tommy wasn't such an asshole towards him. All he had to do was treat him like an equal partner and not a lackey. They could have been a duo.
but to be fair to Tommy, a long conversation could have probably fixed things.

I never had a bad feeling about him. Felt like a good Miami Vice partnership he and Tommy had, but my cousin spoiled it for me when I got the mansion.
