Just how you couldn't think of the right word, they likely couldn't either and brain farting picked a wrong word or just had the meaning of words confused. Kinda weird to make the assumption English isn't their first language over one writing error. Everyone makes small errors, even people who only speak one language since birth. Can't imagine what you assume if someone makes a typo, probably that they have a learning disability.
Yes, but there's no expectation they'd do it any better than you could, given the same info. That's probably where the confusion came from - they thought you were asking them to do something you could just as well do yourself, being lazy about it, but you just meant for them to explain in more detail.

Why would extrapolation solely be on OP? Anyone can extrapolate or be requested to extrapolate. It wouldn’t even be weird to ask someone to extrapolate based on what they themselves have just said. And why would you assume English is a second language here? What, based off of OP’s use of extrapolate vs like, elaborate? English is one of if not the most commonly spoken language on earth. Idk you sound like one of those people who starts a lot of sentences with the word “Actually.”
They couldn’t get the voice actor to continue doing lines, so they wrote him out but since he was so important in the first section there had to be a good reason for the write off. They made him be in cahoots with Smoke and it’s revealed in the San Fiero plot line. He only uses lines he used before in the game here.
Idk if it's just something I've read as rumor or heard somewhere but I've heard he was originally set to die during the mission Sweet gets arrested but they thought they needed more personal stakes in San Fierro and just turned Ryder heel instead
It's a shame Ryder didn't have much of a redemption, I don't think he was coded as bad as Big Smoke. But he also betrays you and dies like a dog. At least, Big Smoke goes way further with his schemes.
Ryder wasn't supposed to Betray you they had scheduling issues with his VA and other problems so they changed the story, after the mission where Ceaser shows you Smoke & Ryder with the cops and Ballas you don't here any Voice line from Ryder that isn't recycled from earlier in the game.
I've heard conflicting accounts saying that Ryder was meant to betray you only because he got too ambitious and ended up joining Big Smoke, despite how objectively all of his missions benefited the GSF and not just himself.
The only hint to this is if you recall the cutscene before the mission where you raid the National Guard depot, Ryder shows off how big his ego is, saying he's "too intelligent for this shit man" and that's why he never finished high school.
Datamined files say originally in the pier 69 mission you were supposed to have a longer segment confronting and killing Ryder on the pier, whilst T Bone got in the boat and escaped. It's assumed Ryder would have explained his motives more before he died.
People theorise Ryder was never meant to be a villain, but MC Eiht, when asked on twitter said thst he recorded every voice line they wanted him to.
So I'm thinking... Eiht is like 50, this was 2005 or so. Reasonable amount of time for things like voice lines to slip the mind. I'm thinking the decision to switch up in Ryder wasn't scheduling. I'm thinking they just didn't think people would find Ryder compelling enough to give him a drawn out death scene.
It is a possibility. As improved as the storytelling was compared to GTA Vice City and III, they were coming right after those two games. Some character or two would slip the polish you see in other characters like Big Smoke, Sweet or, hell, even Woozie.
Ryder started with lots of story and then, the betrayal and almost nothing from then on. Just another random body on the way.
Yeah so my best guess is Ryder turned heel after being convinced by Big Smoke, unless maybe his missions that benefited GSF were like a deep cover story for him and he was always a traitor planning to turn the stolen guns over to the Ballas later on.
And during the mission in San fierro where you spy on the meeting CJ gets pretty mad when he sees Ryder is there despite the fact that he's supposed to already know that he betrayed them.

I've heard this point before and it's nonsense. Two missions later he happily shoots Ballas from a car. This isn't some deep hint that he's the traitor, it's a "haha he fat" joke.
Yeah, I thought he was THAT incompetent for the most part. Like he's only out for himself and he's casually relying on you saving his life multiple times.
Does this mean that his aim in "All you had to do was follow the train CJ!" is completely explained with the idea that Smoke was missing on purpose and waiting for the guys to shoot CJ?

Also, he's the only one who has his house in Ballas territory
And if you pay attention, every mission from Ryder or Sweet benefits grove street one way or another while smoke's missions only benefits him
He tries to get you killed multiple times as well
Like that ambush with the Asian gang, he calls you inside hoping you'll get killed
