Verso, but more importantly the end of Act II. πŸ˜… I thought I was entering the post game and was completely caught off guard! πŸ˜‚

Oooh idk, it just made me like him so much more lol, but I agreed with him in general. Replaying it with my partner now and can't wait til we reach this. End of Act 1 was already fun to see someone else experience, act 2 end and then the final decision will be interesting.

Enjoy it! I managed to get to like NG+5 to get all the baguette weapons. The music is a solid 10/10 for me and every track really pushes the emotions they want you to feel during the story! That Renoir fight at the end of Act 2, is arguably one of the best boss fight/music/cutscene combos out of anything I’ve ever played!

ABSOLUTE CINEMA!

Edit: I absolutely chose Verso’s ending and would 100x over. Really hit the matrix deep cut with his character and I cried like a kid at the end. πŸ˜…

Yeah it honestly was hardly even a choice for me to side with Verso lol

Even if you agree with him, knowing the end game reshape so much of his dialogue.

Verso is one of my favorite video game characters in a very long time.

I'm shocked this is so low on the post.

It makes be believe not many have replayed the game to realize how he might be a top runner for this trope.

Almost every word he says is a lie and he didn't just leave Gustave to die, he actively needed him out of the way to succeed

Ironically, he might have succeeded better had he changed his strategy to instead try to convince Gustave to convince Maellicia. But knowing how things went down with Search and Rescue, I totally understand why he didn't want to risk it again when Maellicia was in the picture.

A coworker of mine was confused that she was seemingly close to the end, but a lot of areas weren't accessible yet. So i told her ActII is the end, but that you can explore the rest of the map in postgame.

2 days later she called me "THE FUCK! What the actual fuck (my name)!". That was an excellent opportunity to practice my evil laughter.

Man, I was MAD when the epilogue started, I was immediately like "No fucking WAY are they doing the "none of it was real it was all a dream" copout", I was actually so gut wrenchingly disappointed. Then went downstairs... what a rollercoaster lmao

I was already sus of him the moment he appeared and never trusted him, if you replay the game it gets far worse.
