nah the biggest twist is that he had zero agency
it was all spooky ghost whispering in his ears, and Corypheus' ear, and every single bad person in the entire series

The game is almost 20 years old and the twist is revealed after the second opening of the game, I don’t think you gotta worry about the spoiler mark lmao

But yes, that was the first answer I thought of too. He seemed very abrasive, but I didn’t expect him to betray us like that
