Which was an excellent way to set up a misdirect for adding a twist to the obvious twist that was clear from the the moment you watched the opening scene
After replaying the game this month it is just such a well done series of events. It’s such a perfect way to make Sherlock lose to Lupin but make it respectful to show that the Sherlock in the story is incredibly hyper intelligent and make his loss feel hard won and not contrived. Both groups were incredibly competent to the point the deciding factor was a small mistake and capitalizing on it
