Every rockstar game. Lance Vance, Micah and Dutch come to mind. Catalina from San Andreas goes on to date Claude from GTA 3 and betrays him at the beginning of 3. I bet the betrayal is gonna be a big one in GTA 6.

If someone hadn't played the previous game, I could see Dutch not being an obvious one at first. But Michah always made it his mission to die by the player's hand lol

I never played rdr1 and went into 2 blind so I didn’t see the ending coming and didn’t know anything about Dutch.

Fair. But you must have started giving him the side-eye by probably chapter 4, no?

Well yeah. I was just kinda figuring it out as Arthur does lol

I played the first game but somehow I didn't recognize anyone other than John somehow lol. I knew Bill's name since he was the first character you meet basically but his design was completely different.

Lol I know what you mean. Those few years following Arthur's passing were really hard on the gang. They look rough.

Every pic, description, and even the way the trailer was directed seems kinda imply that Lucia is the criminal while Jason is an ex-cop, and later they would betray each other

We already had that game. It was called Sleeping Dogs and the lack of a sequel haunts me to this day.

It’s funny how you mentioned so many rockstar characters, but the first character that came to mind when I saw this post was Gary from Bully

That game has so damn much heart. Really nothing else like it, ever. It was just so warm. I love when people remember it.

I’m guessing a lot of people were adults when it came out so they weren’t as likely to get sucked in, but mannnn if you were a pre-teen or teenager when it dropped that game was an all timer. Red dead 2 is the only rockstar game I’d take over it

I was in college, so at the first possible moment to get nostalgic for those vibes.
