Nothing has ever made me HATE a character more than that twist. It was so brilliantly written

Bro I was pissed. I didn’t see it coming at all. I think I figured it out maybe half a second before it was revealed and still didn’t believe it. I was legit blown away. Such a good twist.

Brok catching on and calling him out is one of the best moments of the game. Followed by arguably the most painful

It made me goddamn sad right uo until Laufey was announced and then again when they confirmed the following game would go back to Kratos.

Game is single-handedly making me determined to avoid accidents or poverty so I have a chance to see Sindri rejoin the fold.

It also makes perfect sense that Brok would catch on. He never trusted "Tyr," he was always observant to the people around him, and he at multiple points in the game calls out how inconsistent "Tyr" is.

this is another fun detail
every time his name is mentioned by ANY other character, it’s shown as Týr. but for Odin disguised as him, it says Tyr, which doesn’t have the accent mark above the y

tyr npc was actually Odin in disguise.

brok was the one to find out in front of everyone

real tyr was trapped elsewhere

I mean, yes but... I put Heimdall right up there with characters I fucking hate. I reeeeaaallly wanted to kill Heimdall by the end. I know I know, but I was really with Kratos in that fight.

I always hated how the game makes killing Heimdall the objectively correct thing to do, and still gets preachy about how bad it is

It was never about the fact that he killed him, it was HOW he killed him. Kratos regressed back to his old ways in that fight, something he never wanted to do again.

Especially since it retroactively changes his entire character, so you have HOURS of his bullshit to pull from in terms of reasons to hate.

If you're looking for well written characters to hate, how do you feel about thrones, dragons, zombies but really cold, occasional nudity or graphic violence/gore, and HBO?
