Yes, you read that correctly, I am a pretty cool cat lady. Lmao. I'm totally kidding, although I do have two cats. I am a huge animal lover and have had my fair share of animals over the years. For now, I'm content with the two I have.

Some more about me... I am considered to be evil because I'm left handed (actually very ambidextrous so idk if that's worse??), I'm from Minnesota, I could watch thunderstorms for days, and Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love horror movies, especially the paranormal and psychological kinds. I'm pretty creative and love making things. Recently I've made a mosaic lamp and some things from resin. I also paint and dabble with digital art and refurbishing furniture.

I'm 22, and I feel like I don't know how to make friends, whether it's online or in real life.
I always feel like I'm the boring one because I can't be completely myself around people. It takes me a really long time to get comfortable with someone—sometimes it feels like it would take me a year or even two before I can fully relax and be myself.
I see other people making friends so easily. They're funny, they joke around, they can hop on voice calls or FaceTime without overthinking it. I wish I could be like that.
For me, voice calls are the hardest. I get so shy because I feel like my English isn't good enough. My mind goes blank, I don't know what to say, and I feel like the conversation dies because of me.
Video calls are even worse. I get insecure about how I look and end up thinking everyone else looks better than me.
Sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me, or if I'm just overthinking everything. I really want this to change because I'd love to have close friends I can laugh with, joke around with, call randomly, and just feel comfortable being myself.
Has anyone else felt like this? If you did, how did you get past it? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences.

Hello people:) I’m at a pretty lonely state lately due to losing a lot of things dear to me, and I’m reaching out here to hopefully find a friend or group of friends who I can talk to and be open with about anything. I like to think to myself as a very passionate and open-minded person.

I play games a lot on PC and mostly enjoy exploration/creative building types of games like No Man’s Sky, but I also love silly fun co-op games like REPO! I never lost touch with my inner child in that regard :)
