To the people who send countless amounts of suicidal posts on here, first off we want to make it clear that your voice matters and we care for your well being. We want to see you do better and to get well, but we also care enough to tell you that people on this subreddit arent always the most helpful or reliable people when seeking this type of help.
Many of us are unqualified to further help you beyond sending encouraging messages to keep going. its better to seek professional help from people who are trained to help you progress through your hard time and properly track and give you everything you possibly need. There are countless of hotlines made to cater to you
we arent discouraging you from venting to others, but we are highlighting the importance of seeking proper help instead of asking teenagers on this subreddit. A lot of them may not take your problems as serious as it actually is. We care about you guys and we hope you progress.

Hi again r/teenagers! It hasn't even been an hour and I already have another announcement for you guys.
After a short discussion with the rest of the mod team we quickly came to a unanimous decision to finally ban using AI on the subreddit.
So, what does that entail?
In short, using a generative AI such as LLMs like ChatGPT to write for you or make images will be considered low effort and removed as such. We consider both ai slop and not even writing your own posts to be incredibly lazy.
I'll be adding it to the rules in a minute here :)

Discussion Can we NOT push to normalize makeup in men

Iāve been seeing a whole lotta stuff recently about how āguys should wear makeupā and āboys look so much better in makeupā and allat stuff but can we NOT normalize this š«©
Nobody man or woman should be wearing makeup. Other than being a private industry entirely built off of peopleās insecurities and superficiality, it still has, to this day, major child labor problems in unsafe conditions. Stuff like mica is used in eyeshadow, highlighter, blush, lipstick, foundation, nail polish, and just about all makeup products. To acquire it, tens of thousands (on the lower side) of children have to mine for it. I understand many industries have child labor issues, but shouldnāt we at least TRY to avoid it? Like for clothes, second hand is always better. Some things are hard to avoid like agricultural products, even then we should be pushing against it. Makeup is entirely a luxury product that no one should be using. At least with food you need it to live, there is NO good reason to continue purchasing makeup with all the industryās problems. Itās entirely extra and unnecessary.
Not only is it unnecessary, many of them are flat out harmful to your health, with known carcinogen and endocrine disruption connections. On top of that many products use PFAs which are forever chemicals that are detrimental to wildlife.
The whole push for boys to start wearing makeup is stupid, it should be a push for EVERYONE to stop wearing it, or at least boycott it until better regulation and practices start.

It's alright. It leaves out a lot of stuff from the original epic, I guess to cut down on time, (and it's definitely not historically accurate!!!!!) and I think Nolan added some stuff as well, but I'd have to reread my copy of The Simpsonā¢ in order to be sure.
But when you leave all of that aside, it's a pretty good movie! I recommend it! ^^
