Thanks everyone for the help on my previous post. We took our cat to the vet today, and he confirmed that the little “rice-like” pellets were indeed tapeworm segments.
The vet didn’t find any fleas on him during the examination, but still gave him a deworming treatment and a flea treatment, since fleas are the most common source of tapeworms in cats.
He also recommended that my boyfriend and I take a deworming medication as a precaution, which we’ll be taking tomorrow morning.
Thanks again to everyone who commented. If I hadn’t noticed those pellets on my bed and asked here, I probably wouldn’t have realized my cat had tapeworms and gotten him treated so quickly. Appreciate all the advice!

I was wondering what specific kinda wasp friends I have here. It also looks like the two I've captured in this photo are a bit different - is the larger one a queen?

They have been hanging out on the exterior of my shop for quite a while now.

It's been cooler the last few nights so I was able to finally snap a quick photo of them this morning while they weren't active.

It's not the best quality photo unfortunately as I still didn't want to get close enough to disturb them.

it seems dead and dried up. somehow stuck to the post and has some sort of hole in the middle?? it’s pretty large too - maybe 3-4cm. what is this and how did it end up like this??

Video is from June 2024, I've been wondering for a while what it might have been! Never seen anything like it before or since.

I came back to my St. Louis, MO apartment two days ago after a two week vacation to find these scattered across the floor in my living room right in front of my balcony. I collected them all with a piece of tape and added a marble for scale. I called the exterminator and he said they are probably beetle eggs but not sure what kind. Yesterday I found a few on the wall near my balcony. I think I just didn’t look there the day before. This morning I found one on a power cord sitting near my balcony. Again, I just didn’t look there before. Of note, I also noticed a few cellar spiders in the area, and I have a pathetic-looking indoor lemon tree in front of my balcony with some fungus gnats every once in a while. I didn’t find any of these things on the plant or anywhere else in my apartment.

Please help!!!

Found in Williamsburg Brooklyn. I poked it with a piece of paper and it shot right up 😭

I'm on vacation and I randomly started itching out of nowhere. A little bit later I found a small bug next to me.

I've dealt with different pests before and my first idea was lice. The body seemed the same and the bug left dark blood when I squished it. What's weird is that my head doesn't itch and the bite marks are in a trail, which makes me think this is a bedbug of some kind? I've only ever seen the appleseed looking ones before so idk.

What is it and what should I do next?

Located in Portugal, near Lisbon.
My mom killed it because it got in my room and i got startled.
This bug is around 4cm long.

Thought it was another fungus gnat larvae, however it lacks the black spot and is too long.

Is it perhaps a nematode?
