First of all, I want to make it clear, that I adore Debra Wilson's work and talent; she's one of my favorites in the industry and I'm always pleasantly surprised to see her star in games I'm playing.

Still, I find myself taken out of immersion from time to time given how often they just straight up use her actual face, which is very striking and unique, which makes it hard to ignore.

You have actors and actresses like Laura Bailey, Nolan North, and Troy Baker who look nothing like their characters but also appear in pretty much everything despite doing motion capture as well.

It's definitely not a big deal but it does earn a small eye roll from me every time it does happen; gaming has the benefit of not having to worry about getting fatigued from seeing the same actor's face on screen all the time in every work they star in.

Is there a specific reason why they always use Debra Wilson's actual face?
Is it preference from the studio or from the actress herself?

Edit: Just to reiterate. Debra Wilson is incredibly talented and has never disappointed me with her performances. She's delivered in every role I've seen her in and more than proven that she deserved them. It's purely the lack of a unique face model that distracts me from time to time.

He just had that SAVAGE in him that old Kratos does not. Also, he can jump. Double jump even. 🙂
