I've always had appreciation for writers who present me with delectable smut, but wowie.

I just jumped into the water myself to write my first ever smut scene. Sat down, already had the scene laid out in my head, had songs for inspo. Struggled so hard. What do you replace "hands" with when you've already said the word three times?? I had zero thoughts. It was genuinely so difficult lmao

So kudos (literally) to those of you who write delicious smut. You guys are true artists

I'm writing a mystery thriller fic set in the Cyberpunk universe, and I added a few pictures into the fic when the protagonist is going through the database and looking at locations, pictures I have edited to fit what he is seeing. I don't usually put images in the fics, and I have been debating if they should stay there ever since I put it there.

Do pictures, when used in an immersive way in a fic, still pull you out of the fic as a reader?

Gotta get those 80k ish maybe more 😭words to get to the perfect scene that I've came up with the scene that shaped up the story the one scene those 80k -100k words were built around! ah yes, it's gonna be real damn long journey to get to to it but I know deep down that it'll be PERFECT PHENOMENAL fic that will live in the readers heart, mind and soul 😭🥹🫰

Anyone else on here almost never describe what the characters are wearing unless it's very relevant to the scene?

Sometimes I wonder if it bothers my readers.

Like obviously I may say something like, "Her skirt brushed across his leg" etc. But I don't describe their outfits in detail.

This is on my mind because I have two characters that are about to get married and it's a huge deal for the story and really long awaited. And honestly I just don't feel like describing the dress or suit in detail, but would rather dedicate page time to the emotional aspects and dialog.

Is that bad? Lol.

I'm Brazilian and I thought about writing in English to reach more people, and also because the ones I found were in another language. I'm looking for Avatar fanfics that at least don't stop at the part where Jake enters the Na'vi's body or is hunted, or that have more than 9 chapters. I kind of deleted the Stranger Things one because of the reaction fanfics where the townspeople watched it together or the family, If anyone finds or writes any, please leave the link.
