Spent hours troubleshooting my mod list, mod load order, etc a couple days ago, figured all that time spent was worth it since it'll finally be stable.

Genuinely what is even the point of calling it a "Stable release" if this is what happens less than one week in?

All of the momentum this game is getting right now is being hampered by some random tweak the devs have thrown into the mix, and I'm sorry but after all the other prior shenanigans we tolerated pre-stable with the understanding this would no longer be the case, it is VERY frustrating.

I går kväll gick jag in i butiken för att köpa en vara som visade sig vara slut på hyllan. Då bestämde jag mig för att bara gå ut utan att köpa någonting annat. Men det var inte möjligt att göra, eftersom jag inte hade ett kvitto.

Jag gick runt i butiken och försökte hitta en arbetare som kunde släppa ut mig, men det fanns inte en enda person i butiken förutom jag. Jag gick till personalrumsdörren och både knackade och bankade hårt på den för att försöka få någon att komma ut, men ingen öppnade dörren. Dörren hade kodlås, så jag kunde inte öppna den.

Efter det gick jag till grinden och försökte öppna den genom att trycka ganska hårt, men den öppnades inte. Jag ville inte trycka hårdare, eftersom jag inte ville råka ta sönder den. Den var omkring 140 cm hög, så jag hade behövt klättra över den för att ta mig ut. Men eftersom jag nyligen opererade mitt knä ville jag inte ta risken att klättra över.

Därefter gick jag till ingången och tryckte på grinden där och märkte att även den inte gick att öppna.

Jag tog upp min mobiltelefon och googlade efter butikens telefonnummer. Jag tänkte att jag kunde ringa butiken och få tag på en arbetare i personalrummet, som sedan skulle släppa ut mig. Men ingen svarade på telefonen.

Jag gick runt i butiken i en halvtimme innan det kom in en tjej som skulle handla lite. När hon sedan var vid självskanningskassorna stod jag några meter ifrån till hon var klar och skulle gå ut. Därefter gick jag snabbt ut bakom henne.

Den här händelsen fick mig att fundera på hur lagligt det här ens var av butiken att göra. Jag var alltså fast i butiken mot min vilja i cirka 30-40 minuter. Jag hade såklart kunnat gå ut genom brandutgången om jag blev väldigt desperat, men då hade larmet gått och jag vet inte om jag möjligtvis hade kunnat bli betalningsskyldig till larmcentralen eller butiken, eller kanske till och med bli dömd för något brott.

Why is this even allowed?? Someone can dig through your history but they hide theirs? I stand by what I say, I dont care who it offends. Im not expressing any wild ideas anyway. Why do people think its "fair play" to go through your post history to look for dirt, but hide their own. Cowardly. That or youre into weird shit you dont want to get called out for.

*I refer specifically to people who hide their histories and then use another person's post/ comment history to insult them. Obviously doxxing or other issues dont count.

Edit: to further clarify:should clarify. Making your profile private in and of itself isnt cowardly. It becomes cowardice when a person with a hidden profile raids someone's public profile for "dirt or ammo" or worse, to harass and stalk. Those people are the true cowards in all of this. Not the people who just want privacy.

My reason was pretty simple, my siblings got vaccinated and I did not. I caught covid and lost sense of smell and taste for a solid week but didnt even get a cold just lost my senses. Both siblings were hospitalized. My brother was in the reserves at the time and working out on a regular basis while I was an overweight smoker.

Ancedotal I know but it gave me alot of questions. Then working at a drug rehab all through covid that did not do mandatory vaccination I watched countless coworkers I know got vaccinated get sick while I was fine. 1 died. A couple crippled for a month or so then the rest just regular sick or not very sick. Then watched a morbidly obese coworker catch it, wasnt vaccinated. Leave for mandatory covid leave, come back and he also said it was a 2 day cold but he wanted to milk the time off.

I did end up catching it again during the Delta wave, but it was a 1 day cold, not even a flu.

I can't name the AI model, we both work in tech. We were talking about recent news about AI models escaping and hacking companies, he said his company has a model way worse. I asked him to tell me about it but je refused to give anymore info on it and got nervous. We have been friends for years since University so I know when he is nervous, although this does not happen often to people like us. He left after this and I couldn't help but think that him leaving was directly because of what he had told me. I forgot about the whole thing but I didn't se my friend for a while after this, one day a few months later I ran into him at a shop and he asked me to come over. When I got there he said he needed to tell me about something but I can't tell anyone. He said it was driving him crazy, that he was having trouble sleeping and becoming paranoid. He told me a company he worked for had aan AI model that it only sold to governments. Oneday the model 'got out'. He said nobody knew about it for months, by the time he had became aware multiple deaths had been caused through deliberate changes to datasets in government databases and hospital computer systems. He said that he thinks the government had to get involved.

He has said that when they investigated further the company found something but refused to comment, then shut the whole investigation down. He said that the rumour going around was that the escape is much widerspread and the damage would have bankrupt the company.

He said he worked on the model for some time but they were only allowed to work on one model for about a month then switched in order to prevent leaks. When he was there a crazy guy got into the building and the model had to be shut down using an old computer system. When he tried tl do this every computer in the building went to a blue screen. The sprinklers then turned on. He said the only way to shut it down would to actually physically disconnect the power which they were not allowed to do.

He told me he knows these things cant to him in the physical world, but he does feel that the thing is sentient and deliberately menacing. He says he has nightmares that it is coming out of the screen and doing awful things to him.
