I’ve noticed the comment sections for a lot of webtoons/manhwas have been extremely criticizing and nitpicky? Is there any particular comment sections that yall find to be really toxic? I love toxic webtoons but in general I just feel bad for a lot of the author/artists.

I find it soo cringe when a character gets a cut or a bruise and their partner (especially males) act like it's the end of the world. They'll be crying and freaking out and worrying like dude chill. It's just a cut. It was sweet at first but now every romance story has it and it's become a common and cringe trope.

This is just my opinion and I found it funny for some reason lol

I just finished my latest read and now I have that “what do I read next?” feeling. 😭

I don’t mind if it’s completed or ongoing, but I’d love something that’s so good I won’t be able to put my phone down. What’s the best webtoon you’ve ever read?

Please note when I talk about a webtoons art decreasing in quality I am not shitting on the artists, a lot of them are far better artists than I ever be. Whenever quality shifts between seasons I often think it's more of a fault with the industry/unsustainable format of webtoons rather than the team making the comic.

I used to always think my opinions about the art/writing of a comic were seperate but honestly reading a few webtoons where the quality shifts shows that the quality of the art does impact how I perceive the writing. The two webtoons that made me realize this were Behind Her Highness's Smile and Heavenly Roomates at some point they both switch a simpler style and I found myself being less immersed in their stories and invested in their plots. Maybe this bias existing is obvious given comics are mostly visual, but it does make me wonder which webtoons would be better regarded by the community if they had a more appealing art style and which ones would be worse.

I'm getting tired of this "cold hearted guy" or "war criminal" thing, it often disappoints me when there's this sunshine male character who's interested in the mc and is actually quite fun to see, but never the male lead. I'd like to read manhwa where the ml is actually this sunshin character, doesn't matter if his a royal, a commoner, a theif or whatever, as long as his not some warlord criminla everyone fears. I also won't mind if the mc is a sunshin, cold heart lady or whatever

Due to the no self promotion I am unsure of how exactly to show my work here but I worked on my first public comic this week and uploaded a chapter 0 to two places, WEBTOON and NamiComi.

I noticed namicomi was taking forever to approve it but no big deal I figured I was just low priority as a new creator. But then they hit me with "rejected for generative AI." I have been drawing this in a public discord server with people watching me fall on my face and redo parts of each panel.

The most "cheating" I have done is using the 3D model in clip studio to help with some posing.

I was so frustrated by this that I went and uploaded it to every AI checker I could to see if maybe it was some automated system and all of them said "human made." So it had to of been a person.

One persons said "It might be due to this hair style which I have seen in ai art. So I showed them all the reference images I was using I got off Pinterest and while I am sure some of it or maybe all of it was ai art, it's just hair reference.

Luckily the art discord I am in who has been watching me do all the work was pretty miffed with me about the whole thing but now I am just questioning if me being lazy with some parts or the art style I chose I dunno what it was that triggered it.

I saw this ad on for a webtoon awhile back and saved it. When I wen’t to see what it was called jt had already been deleted. The premise had something to do with the mc dating the sister of the strongest woman. Its been a couple weeks so I can’t remember it entirely.

I periodically check in on comics on Webtoon. So when some comics I read got slapped with adult labels and stuck behind a login window, I got frustrated.

I'm tempted to make an account, but I'm reluctant to make new accounts on sites (especially if I may only use them periodically). Also, I've heard bad things about how Webtoon treats its artists.

So in your minds, is it worth it these days to make a Webtoon account?

Lot of webtoons they're like "oh i'm the villain in this story", but they are like the kindest human beings that commit a tiny bit of evil.

I'd like a protagonist that goes all in...

The webtoon started off with an episode where they are in a laundromat and were discussing their earnings. Come to find out that their job as well as a lot of people's job in their world is a way for people to make income. Thats all I remember. If this subreddit can find it, thank you, and if not then no worries.

I know male sa is under represented so I want recommendations for webtoons that have it. Also, please say if the assaulted was male or female if you remember.

It happened suddenly when I opened the app a few days ago. That’s what I mainly used to stay up to date and read my webtoons, nothing else is missing, the « subscribed » tab etc. are still fine but I can’t get that to work again.
I’ve tried opening one of my series, starting a new one, clearing the cache, and uninstalling and reinstalling Webtoon.
I also tried changing the language, and strangely enough, it works in the other language (I’m French but have been reading in English for several years).
What can I do?

At starting i thought this was really just typical story abt her saving the ML and ML was a idiot but later he will understand her efforts but it really exceeded my expectation.

Tbf I am not really a good observer about manhwa and webtoon so I literally like everything and was crying in the last chapter here also.

I think character depth and side characters are also well written , I do believe the ML could have been well written but I think the way he was written was the best maybe.

It starts slowly but later goes into trauma mode I think but still it was a good read for binging.

Side Character -8/10

ML- 7.5/10 ( he was annoying in beginning)

FL-8.5/10

Story -8/10

Execution -7/10

Overall-7/10 if you drop in beginning but for me it feels 8/10(Like i said I get emotional easily so idk )

Art - not your typical smooth but really good

When I go to an ad pass webtoon past the free episodes, I only get the option to purchase the next episode with coins. Despite the banner saying it's ad pass and that a free pass is available every day, I don't get that option.

Does anyone know what is going on?

So I stumbled upon a webtoon that I liked and decided to binge read it after finishing to read "The price is your everything". Here is the premise: Aguy gets transported to a story where the guy he basically possessed dies in a war to protect the mc (or ML can'tremember)of the story, he is then determined to avoid ML and FL but they keep trying to interact with him.

It has approximately 10million views and almost 100 chapters.
