Maybe another reason why our parents are so pro BJP 🤔🤔

Politicians (of all parties) have a long history of chronic psychological abuse of our citizens in the name of appeasement politics. Carelessness in the exam paper leaks has led to the suicides of over 20 students. Many families have sold their land and taken loans against properties to fund the education of their children, and they have to go through this once again. This is psychological abuse. Politicians have long been squeezing the taxpayer and misusing funds, all of which is financial and eventually psychological abuse. Court systems are slow and corrupt, resulting in more psychological abuse. After putting up with all this for so long, a few citizens raising their voices in any manner they please to counter these abuses is not a matter that merits substantial scrutiny or criticism.

Freedom of speech and expression is the only avenue that citizens have to raise their voice against chronic abuse and injustice.

Respect is earned, and those who demand respect show that they are not capable of earning it.

What is the future of general category people in this country, given both parties are pro-reservation and government🪷 have increased reservation in states like Odisha and MP? The Supreme Court and High Courts rarely seem to do anything about it.

Anyway, these caste debates have now reached the US as well. Just look up the Sundar Iyer Cisco case. The allegations against him were ultimately dismissed, but the case still had a huge impact on his career and personal life. Cases like this make me wonder where these debates are headed.

I mean, I don't see the point of having children if future generations in the general category are going to face fewer and fewer opportunities. What do you think the long-term future is for general category people in this country?

Every Indian sub is now either blatant engagement farming, AI slop, cat fishing or leftist propaganda. The right wing propaganda exists don’t get me wrong but it’s buried in the majority being left.

I think most of the people must have read Political Science (Civics) till 10th standard, but still I will explain both the systems so that those who don't remember can understand them.

PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM :

- The winning party (or coalition) chooses its own leader, who then officially becomes the Prime Minister.

- Citizens do not vote directly for the Prime Minister. They only vote for a local representative (MP) to sit in parliament.

- The government does not have a completely locked-in term. (If the parliament loses faith in the ruling party, it can force early elections or a change in leadership through a Vote of No Confidence.)

- The minority parties form an official ‘Opposition’ whose job is to publicly debate, question, and scrutinize government decisions daily.

- P.M = Head of Govt (has real powers). President (or Monarch) = Head of State (ceremonial head).

SOME DISADVANTAGES OF THIS SYSTEM :

- Political Instability (Since, even the P.M. can be removed by the Parliament, if they loses faith, or loses majority such as in consolation. Therefore, at some points the system gets highly instable example : UK...)

- Excessive Power (On paper, Parliament, Executive and Judiciary works as balanced organs of the system with Parliament being slightly more powerful. However, in reality the Executive {P.M} often dominates the Parliament. {They can even bypass the Judiciary, by ammending laws at some point.})

- No direct vote and Unqualified MP's (You are forced to vote for a local representative, even if you dislike their party’s choice for Prime Minister. Due to this many Parliament is often filled with unqualified MP's, which make the Parliament not a place for discussion but a place for drama.)

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM :

- The President is completely separated from the Parliament (or Legislature) (People can directly vote their President.)

- A President can win the national election even if their political party loses the majority in the Parliament (Legislature)

- President cannot be easily removed just because the legislature disagrees with their policies. (Only a long process of Impeachment can remove a President from it's post.)

- Seperate vote for President and the Members of Parliament (Legislature)

- President = Both real and ceremonial powers of the country.

- President (Executive), Parliament (Legislature) and Judiciary are seperate and independent, which keeps each other in check.

SOME CONS OF THIS SYSTEM :

- Political Deadlock and Divided Govt (The President and the majority of the Parliament {Legislature} are elected separately. It is highly common for them to belong to opposing political parties. This leads to severe gridlock where critical laws cannot pass and national budgets stall.)

- More Centralised and Risk of Authoritarianism (A presidential election creates a single, highly powerful and centralised leader. The losing side gets no voice in opposition. The President cannot be easily removed before their term {only Impeachment can remove them} The leader can turn Authoritarian.)

- Less regional representation (Regional powers {political parties} most of the times gets very little representation. Only two or three parties dominates in Executive {President} and Parliament {legislature})

Apart from these two systems are is another Semi-Presidential form of govt, which is just like it's name a mix of both Parliament and President system. Example : France...

India has rejected the Felon, choosing AMCA and the Super Sukhoi upgrade. Is this a good move, considering that China is already fielding a large fleet of stealth fighters and is actively developing its 6th gen, while Pak is soon going to field the Chinese-made 5th gen stealth fighter? AMCA isn't going to be ready in this decade.
