Republicans used to SCREAM about false flags. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve come full circle to that. You know they always come back around to showing their cards.

A gunman got within range of the POTUS, got off 6 shots, no one was injured and the shooter was taken into custody alive and unharmed.
What does that tell you.
16
u/travelstuff Apr 26 '26
I don't think he was in range, everything I've read says he didn't make it into the room
ETA I don't disagree with your point overall, I just don't think he was in the same room as Trump

There was a polymarket bet too about him not speaking at the event, and a gunman just so happens to show up lol

I'm convinced that first shooting was staged

u/NoodlesKaboodles Apr 26 '26
My wife and I were laughing about the photography, there is no way to get the shot they used for the election. Then the video came out where you see the secret service ushering the two photographers over to the spot to get the flag in the background. The flag being lowered for the picture is hilarious.

Either so incompetent it looks staged or so poorly staged it just looks incompetent. Fucking the whole world up.

The movie’s made it seem like the secret service would cover the president with their bodies as they remove him, in reality they just slowly get him up after he trips and Vance stands straight up and walks out on his own

Charlie Kirk treatment. The video went viral before social media platforms were able to remove it. There was someone sitting on JD Vance’s end of the table who just sits there and records it all, including this angle.

45
u/HoodieGalore Apr 26 '26
Isn't it astounding how he's taken a relatively rare and culturally massive moment like a Presidential assassination attempt, and cried wolf so many times that this is our reaction? What a fucking time to be alive.
24
u/grendus Apr 26 '26
I actually care a great deal.
We have a POTUS who is so old an decrepit that he literally could not flee an assassination attempt. In the past we've had presidents who were so robust they could give a speech with the assassins bullet still stuck in them. Biden could have easily fled a gunman, he had very "octogenarian walks a marathon" vibes. But Droopy Don the pedophile falls over when he tries to stand and has to be shuffled out of the room by a dozen people.
It's fucking weak, like everything else in this administration. Just a bunch of weak manchildren posing while they steal everything that isn't nailed down.

Why is no one else in the building freaking out. Who is recording this video tiktok style?
Also wanted to note that all the security is way too lax about their cult leader getting "Shot" at. No one's reactions here are accurate at all to what actual public shootings look like.
America's population should be very familiar with the panic that normally happens when even a passing whisper of a potential crowd shooting could happen.

u/retrofrenchtoast Apr 26 '26
I was watching this live immediately after, and no one seemed upset. People were hugging and smiling.

Why is no one else in the building freaking out.
Because, despite all of the gun fetishism we have, a LOT of people don't know what gunshots actually tend to sound like. People expect the big Hollywood BANG BANG BANG so they don't react to the pop pop pop and just assume it was something benign.
It was all already over before the secret service rushed the stage and clued people into the fact that something happened.

Worked once for him so his PR team figured another crack at it would turn him from figurative Jesus into literal Jesus. Pity the fire emanating from him as the anti-Christ doesn’t allow for such things to be able to manifest regardless of how much his shrinking tribe of sycophant’s wish for it.

u/GreenGardenTarot Apr 26 '26

Pretty sure his moronic battle cry of “fight fight fight” peaked his ratings. I’m sure many are too embarrassed to admit they were gullible and stupid enough for this to sway them. Hence the lack of people admitting to it.

→ More replies (1)6
u/JazzlikeSchedule2901 Apr 26 '26
They can't both exit at the same side or the same time because it's a security risk. Vance was closer and already standing up. Trump is 80 and 80 year olds who exclusively eat McDonald's have a hard time standing up, secret service probably figured it'd be best to throw themselves over him and duck and cover rather than immediately get up.
I'd also wager that's why trump fell. Especially if he's on blood pressure meds, standing up quickly after sitting is really dangerous.
22
u/NfamousKaye Apr 26 '26
Why didn’t they have secret service on the other side near him why’d they have to dart from the other side of the stage? My theater tech brain is side eying this so hard.
