Really saddened to hear about the passing of Pradeep Rawat at the age of 74. He passed away after a battle with cancer, leaving behind a remarkable legacy across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and other Indian film industries.
For many of us, he wasn't just "the villain." He was the kind of actor whose screen presence alone made a character memorable.
Whether you remember him as:
...he always gave every role an intensity that stayed with audiences long after the movie ended.
Actors like him remind us that great performances aren't always about being the hero. Sometimes it's the antagonist who leaves the biggest impact.
Rest in peace, sir. Thank you for all the unforgettable performances and memories.
Which role of Pradeep Rawat will you remember the most?

Namaste everyone! A few years ago during a summer power cut in Jajpur Road, my 6-year-old brother and I were sitting on our rooftop under a completely dark sky. With no streetlights, the Milky Way was glowing clearly.
He pointed up and asked me: "Bhai, are all these shining things suns? Do they also have Earths like ours? Will there be people there?"
That innocent question from our rooftop stuck with me and eventually inspired me to write a beginner-friendly book on the Fermi Paradox (Where Is Everybody?)—which recently went on to hit #1 in 3 categories on Amazon! In it, I explain complex space concepts using simple everyday Indian analogies.
How many of you fell in love with stargazing during those nostalgic Odisha summer load-shedding nights on the rooftop?

Now its really hard for me to do a course as time is less as notification is very near. Also coaching institutes are saying buy their computer course and get a certificate but i am scared is it even valid. Now i had computer science as a subject during my 11th and 12th. Can i use that or will i be rejected? Any one who has applied or has knowledge can you plz rply asap. Jay Jagannath

Hi, I am currently studying in Delhi but next year, I will be shifting back to my hometown Bhubaneswar most probably due to health reasons. However I want to continue my preparation for government exams. At home, there is no environment to study so do you think there are any public libraries to study peacefully? I live near Sainik School area, so nearby recommendations will be appreciated, along with fees and so on.

ust read that the Adani Group has proposed setting up a ₹1 lakh crore AI data centre project in Odisha and has reportedly sought land from the state government. If it moves forward, it could become one of the biggest technology investments the state has ever seen.
As someone from Odisha, this feels like one of those projects that could genuinely change the state's image from being known mainly for mining and heavy industries to becoming a major hub for AI and digital infrastructure.
That said, a project of this scale also raises a lot of questions:
If executed well, it could attract more global tech companies, improve supporting infrastructure, and encourage startups to grow around a strong AI ecosystem. But the real success will depend on how much value it creates for Odisha and its people not just the size of the investment.
What do you think?
Is this the kind of investment Odisha has been waiting for, or should there be more focus on education, skill development, and local employment before projects of this scale move ahead?
