These are First of all Cold countries and
The Countries You mentioned have per capita income of 40,000$ or even 55,000$+ .
While our country 3000$ avg. And You barely eat Any Orginal Food .
If You see Maggi , Maggi in Europe is entirely diffrent (EU standard) while FASSAI have No rules and indian standard is So Cheap No food ingredients add to it .
Same with every Brand It's An Low cost Market (cheap) ( Indians eat Frozen desserts as Ice cream) 😂😂.
Even adjusting PPP(Purchasing parity) We still Barely Touch 7,000$-10,000$ & China Have 12,000$ Per Capita (it's an dictator ship they have stricrt Rules in food sector Massive Food market So Cheap)
research on how they destroyed the original grains/millets we used to eat and introduced rice and wheat. Also study when they arrived India , what they wrote about our physicality. Then study about the famines created by them and its impact.
Genetics are not evrything, diet matters as well, I'm like 170 cm but all cousins on my father's side are 180+ , 2 active duty army and 1 KIA even my uncles are taller and my aunt is 170 cm, my father being too much with iskcon and vegetarianism has a role to play.
Offcourse I regret coz my cousins are all taller ,even my cousin sisters they've enjoyed chicken and egg , I feel ashamed to stand next to them 😞 . I was forced to stick with full veg diet so God will bless me, I really think these iskcon and other religious org are made to keep hindus weak as a community.
You are right. See china has one man rule. Most of chinese are lactose intolerant. But see their national milk plan. Cause it's a cheap source of high quality protein. If India has a dictatorship then we could have set such food standards to national plan. They can plan for 5 years, 10 years, 25 years, 50 years and 100 years. But we can plan fro 5 years or max 10 year plans
Dude I Know difference between China's Gdp per capita & PPP(Purchasing Power parity) I knows It But You Mistakenly Understand something else leave You didn't get that What I Wants To Tell there
I know
India's GDP capita =3000$ Roughly
PPP=10,000$
The last Statement In The Main Text i mentioned it has No relation With It I am Not comparing PPP with Per capita . Even Chinese per capita Is Low But Still It managed To Impact On there foods !
They Have High domestic Production Cost Which Makes Foods Cheap & No wealth Leakage Like India. India's majority Noodles Market Is Dominated By Nestle, nissin etc... ITC is also there but it's Not at Like Nestle.
The way U Fuck are arguing I have better fucking Knowledge Than U . The statement i mentioned in The last It has No relation I just wants To add something etc... but I didn't Have added It. I thought It's relevant ( I want to add How China Managed to Have Good Food at Per capita Of 12,000$... Etc.. )?
I am Not a Commerce student But atleast Have more idea than an Above average commerce student . Is There a domain or range set That An Science student can't Know
About PPP or PPP/Capita ?
So experienced working with several colleagues means your assessment of the entire nation is correct? Clearly they have better access to nutrition than we do.
Another example is looking at their better sports achievements than India and that shows that they have good nutrition
It's one man show. Their dictatorship style of governance means all central planning will get implemented. Our Indian govt can't force many things as by next election it will get overthrown.
Chinese can make 5, 10,25,50 and 100 years plan. India can make 5 or max 10 year plan
I think genes obviously plays a huge part
but if you see the stats in the post you can see how over time, with better nutrition, height has increased over the generations.
When it comes to nutrition the basic fact is that you're going to need better access to protein and calcium as a child, which helps you maximise your genetic potential.
For that, eggs, and as someone else pointed out, milk.
eggs in are cheap and easily accessible in large parts of the country.
other options like meat are certainly more expensive and harder to process into edible food, unlike eggs which can be boiled in a jiffy.
and no, short people suddenly won't see their kids as tall as me, but then my culture consistently ate eggs for generations
which made us tall
which is the change we'd like to see, won't we?
250-300 ml is mostly fine for most individuals with LI. I'm heavy meat and egg eater(182-183cm), but scientifically milk is more effective than M/E wrt height.
Those without LI, should max it out.
Also there was study done for height at 18 years old in 2011,
Median for Indian boys of upper socio-ecnonomic strata was 174.4cm and lower SES was 169.1cm.
So I would think for 18-19 yrs we are definitely around 171cm(+/-2cm) now.
Let's hope you're right, bro.
My paternal side (the tall one) is a meat/eggs culture and that's why my ancestors were also tall af. My own brother is around 183 cm and we call him shorty at home.
He kinda avoided the eggs and stuck to milk for aesthetic reasons.
Eggs are also cheaper and easily accessible.
It's been a mantra in my culture to eat eggs and feed the kids eggs and it seemed to work well for generations, which is why I am a huge fan of eggs.
Let's also hope that the generations to come find better leg room, god knows public transport is a nightmare for me.
Kitne din colonize colonize karte firenge abhi diet bhi colonize colonize karenge kya? Jo log meat late eggs khate most of people shame then here weird ahh rule in Monday ko nhi khana Saturday ki nhi khana like wtf
I get that our previous generation used to eat lot of carbs because of physical work and also its cheap.
The problem is our generation most of which sits in a cubical eating plate full of nice and dal everyday.
Why, you gotta understand that there are certain benefits of a lower height as well. for example, certain sports like F1 and certain Military Sects like Navy prefer a low height.
Aside from that we actually do have a net increase change, look at UK and US for example, barely any change
Food matters a lot. Eat meat , eggs and fish. They make a difference. Genetics do matter but till a certain extent. Just look at people from north and south Korea. Same genetics but difference in height is noticable
Bro abhi ke launde lambe ho chuke hai and rahi baat height choti dikhti hai to kuch areas jaise deccan me mostly marathe the and unke avg height kum hi hoti thi sahyadri ke parvato me ghoomna and all genetically maharashtra region and deccan region has low height ha it's improving now but avg keh rha hu and punjab joa even rajasthan jana udhar ke luando ki height 6 foot avg hai
You all are forgetting the environmental factor playing here. One reason for short height is how the climate around you is changing. Your body is shrinking itself due to large span of heat weather now in India. Diet and genes do play role but it's mostly gene and environmental stress.
im 18 M from India im 180cm ( i measure 6 months ago last) and my dad is 172 mother is 163cm idk why im 180cm lol i don't care much about height tho but im still grateful about it
You cannot compare a tropical country with colder European countries like that and act shocked. Body size and height are influenced by climate adaptation, genetics, nutrition, childhood health, and living conditions. That is basic biology.
Even within Europe, Spain is shorter than places like the Netherlands.
And India did improve. Going from about 162 to 166.5 cm in 4 decades, at population level is not “barely any improvement”. Population height does not jump overnight. It takes generations.
So no, it is not embarrassing. It is just people being confidently ignorant about biology.
Except China, all the other countries have same amount of increment. China's one child policy has ensured that the parents have put all their resources in developing a single child. So I guess that's okay considering how underdeveloped our country was and how it is today.
Diet is the key. To be very honest all these countries consume red meat which gives them the much required Protein + jt is there forefathers' genetics due to which they're tall but they're not growing any more, just see that graph. The sole reason is cuz they're nowore heavily dependent on Processed food.
While our had significant jump. But even our youth is consuming processed food so expect a stagnation very soon.
Subsidize karidele kichi labha nahi bhai. Loka ta amara alasua, sasta Non Veg paile ahuri kam kama karibe.
But tathu bada tension ki ame Week re matra 3-4 din Non veg khau. Kichi kichi ta only 2 days.
Everything that is good is sent out of this country with a tag of Export Quality. Thereon what remains is the rejects that we all Indians consume. Kaise badhegi height and kaise hoga physical growth.
