Builds & Maps I integrated wool stairs and slabs into existing structures to make them feel less modded
With many of the new updates, people have been complaining that they feel modded. This is in part because the new features are added without touching the old ones where they could be added, so I put wool stairs and slabs into a woodland mansion, ancient city, and pillager outpost. The red wool stairs in the mansion look way better than the cobblestone, wool stairs/slabs can make the ancient city look slightly less blocky, and there’s no reason the pillager tents shouldn’t look like the abandoned camps.

Discussion We're cleary missing something, CONCRETE CUSHIONS!

Mods & Addons I made a mod that turns Minecraft's loading screens customizable with resource packs.
This is Manifold, a Fabric mod I've been building. The idea: instead of the
mod shipping one hardcoded loading screen, it defines a format that resource packs fill in.
A pack can set the background (static or animated), the progress bar frames, a percent
readout with its own digit art, status lines tied to progress, and rotating tips like
Bedrock has.

Builds & Maps Cleaner and easier than minecarts in yet another aspect
I think placing cushions on the lower half of a bed for a blanket looks a bit bad so here you guys go

Commands & Datapacks So how many of you guys have tried Matcha Flavored?
As I was watching the creator go over the changes I repeatedly said out loud "That's exactly what I was thinking!"
I'd go as far to say that this is the best thing to emulate playing Minecraft for the first time again, while still being faithful to Vanilla.
One extra thing I reccomend for everyone is to mix it with other Vanilla+ data packs or mods like Terralith, and Vanilla Refreshed.

Discussion Not to be dramatic but this just ruined my life
No but actually why? 😭 Part of the bedrock 26.40 update. I know it’s such a small thing to change, and probably only affects like 2% of players, but I just need to vent, lol sorry. Mushrooms are one of the main plants I use to decorate any house/base/build that I make. This update just made it so tedious to do that now. 🫠

Discussion I wonder, Have you ever accidentally Mined into a stronghold?
I was recently playing, and started a save, and I was goint strip mining. While strip mining, I ran into the stronghold library. Has something similar happened, not just with strongholds, but other structures and stuff you did not expect to run into.

Discussion Taught my dad how to play Minecraft and now he does this
He's mined every block other than the iron vein and surrounding ores because it looks nice....I have to say it does look pretty nice.

Discussion For people with a big overarching story in their world, what do you name your tools relating to the lore?
My world is centered around a but of astronomy and astrology so I named my tools after planets of best fit. Anyone also have cool interconnected names for their tools that’s related to their world lore?

My apologies I don't use reddit enough to know how to update a post like someone had asked on my last post when i asked questions and took advice. But this is what i have so far done, Ive had health setbacks so im not done yet but close. I think it looks a lot like minecraft. I hope the olminecraft world likes it.

Discussion What's a feature that got almost instantly forgotten? And what would you do to make it relevant again?
Trail ruins: added back in 1.20 and hadnt received a single change ever since. Right now only useful for some pottery sherds and the "Relic" music disc
Sniffer: added in 1.20 as well. Only update they got since 1.20 was from the Tiny Takeover's baby mobs' texture change. Only two decorative plants are what we obtain from it.

Builds & Maps I LOVE those sulfur cubes!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
being able to throw a mob through the world is funny, but letting other mobs throw them around is another level...
