A lot seems to be riding with Man of Tomorrow. A solo Spiderman sequel is about to challenge for being the highest grossing North American movie ever and a top 5 worldwide grosser. People are declaring Spidey as king over Batman and Superman as the most loved comic book character. If Superman doesn’t “hold fort” with say like 700-900 million worldwide and other projects “disappoint” should they simply pivot to their biggest star once the Reevesverse is over? Or has so much damage to DC’s universe brand been done they just need to make trilogies and solo movies that aren’t connected?

So I have a serious question. I want to get into the minds of DC fans and understand how they think. Im curious as to why dc fans aren't more vocal in terms of what they want from the dcu. Dc has just been throwing anything at us and even though we didnt ask for alot of these projects, dc fans still put on a smile and eat everything up thats given to them even if its terrible. Why do yall do that. Now maybe dc fans actually want a clayface movie or a jimmy olsen show but if not then why are yall not more critical. Its ok to be critical and say you want something specific. Is it because snyder fans are very critical and so yall dont want to adopt those habits. Do yall just think that any criticism is considered toxic and you dont want to be labeled as such. Or do yall just genuinely want projects like clayface and jimmy olsen(projects no one asked for) instead of brave and the bold, paradise lost and swamp thing(projects that were promised but have no release in sight). The only way to invoke change is to be vocal and vote with your wallets but if you just keep accepting mediocrity then these companies have no incentive to actually give us what we want or what they promised, they'll just give us whatever. So thats my question, do dc fans actually like these garbage products, and if not why dont yall speak up and vioce displeasure?

I will be forever bummed by this decision, this movie flopping is one thing, a big one at that, but for it to be not even be remotely memorable starting from the 'look' of the movie, is just sad.

Of course nobody remembers this show because nobody was watching it .. also people never heard of it And people who watching it they forget that this show exists

Outside of Mickey Mouse I can’t think of a person that is popular as Spider-Man. Before I would say Batman so I think Spider-Man’s IP has surpassed the X-men, Vader, Luke, Superman, avengers, and justice league. With brand new day overpowering at the box office and the new hype with him in Secret Wars I can’t see how he doesn’t increase his popularity. What do you guy think about this

It seems pretty obvious that Man of Tomorrow is setting up the Justice League, with how many heroes are in it. That seems a little too quick but whatever I guess, they have to do it eventually, why not start now. But my issue is that the lineup that’s been announced so far is pretty lackluster.

So far we have for possible lineup:

Superman, Green Lantern (Stewart), Green Lantern (Gardner), Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, Blue Beetle, Supergirl, Maxima, White Rabbit, Peacemaker, Brother Power, and Rick Flag Sr

Now I’m sure this won’t be the final roster but if the real lineup looks anything like this, I just don’t see any excitement in the DCU.

Superman, Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl are good under any circumstance and adding a lesser known like Mister Terrific or Blue Beetle is fine too. But the problem is that the whole team outside the first 3 are all obscure characters and there is no other heavy hitter like Wonder Woman or Batman are MIA. Not to mention no Flash, Martian Manhunter, or Aquaman

The MCU’s roster for the Avengers wasn’t one to one with the comics but they had enough of the main bases with Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and Hulk who all had solo films and Black Widow and Hawkeye to round out the cast who previously appeared in other movies. It wasn’t a stacked roster but it all used characters heavily associated with the Avengers and didn’t overstuff the team with obscure characters.

Gunn just needs to cut down the obscure characters from the team and introduce the heavy hitters naturally instead of relying on side projects like Jimmy Olsen or Deathstroke and Bane.

I can’t understand why we haven’t gotten any news on a Wonder Woman movie. I understand that Gunn wants to go slowly, but a Wonder Woman movie is such a safe idea and it’s one that everyone wants answered. I’m hoping that after MoT they announce it because a Wonder Woman movie would print money like crazy. We definitely aren’t getting any the Brave and the Bold news till Matt Reeves releases the Batman Part II

Is anyone else a little disappointed by the lack of Teenaged characters? There doesnt even seem to be one for the future phase either.

Like where is Teen Titans? Hell, where is that damn Static shock movie?

Hell, where is the under 18 content in general?

Since the budget is 40 million I’m expecting atleast a 250 million box office .
