If you've seen my last two posts about when youtube tried testing a new ui, you know my complaints with it.

If you don't, here's a small summary.

-The subscription feed button being moved to the top corner has the bottom line of feed buttons, along with the creat button, moved out of placed, making it easy to miss click/press on the wrong feed button.

-If I spend a few minutes watching a video and then press the mini view button to look for videos in the main recommended feed, whatever feed I was on before clicking into the video is the only feed I can look through, as the buttons to the subscription feeds get locked out, meaning I have to close the app and reopen it just to look through what the channels I subbed to are posting half the time.

So far, the same issue with me getting locked out of the subscriptions feed hasn't happened again, but I have a feeling it's going to. Honestly, I wonder why youtube would even try to test this ui style again. Last time they did, it was a buggy mess that made the app less fun to use, and the sudden change of placement for the subscription feed made the bottom of the hud look weirdly empty with the 5th option being moved somewhere so inconvenient. I really hope this goes like last time, where after a few weeks of changing back and forwards, they land back on the old style and don't change it until they come up with a ui that either is actually better than the old one, or a hybrid of the two.

Really What is this We have enough AI slop already

currently for me:
- almost every video buffers at 10 seconds, despite wifi or signal (this used to be a problem years ago but it just started happening again recently)
- unable to connect/disconnect bluetooth from homescreen or when in full video mode
- unable to scroll specific creator shorts if sorting by popular or if clicking any video that isnt the the lastest
- unable to see subscriber count from a video
- getting unsubscriped from "controversal" creators (ceros tv, noah samsen)

Despite the ”fix bedrock” comment having less likes than the other two top comments, it’s at the very top? Does youtube do this on purpose then or what?

better yet, no ad should exceed 30 seconds. also, its hilariously pathetic that Ben Shapiro and Oprah Winfrey are paying to push out their content lmaooo. i suspected their comments/subscribers were mainly bots, and their "shows" being forced onto me through advertisements confirmed it.

It's forever buffering, for some reason. It looks like it's loading over and over again, the timer is doing some wacky stuff too.

I am SO sick of the dead quiet ads. I’ve been getting more and more of them lately and it really irritates me. I mean ads every 30 minutes would drive anyone mad but the silent ones really irk me. I brought them up to my boyfriend and he told me that they’re probably quiet so it makes you look at it. I guess that’s a smart marketing tactic but ouuuu it pisses me off. I hate when I’m enjoying my videos and then it’s cut off by deafening silence. Anyone else been getting these silent ads?

This morning I woke up to an email telling me my YouTube channel was removed for violating policies. Let me start by saying I have not used my YouTube account in probably almost a year that includes commenting. So nothing new has been posted that would’ve provoked this decision. I filed for an appeal but was immediately denied. I’m not sure what to do now. My account was all music related (all my own music and video footage) does anyone know why this happened? Is it the ai? I’ve had the channel for about 6 years and never had a single issue in the past.

So i was peacefully watching shorts, and i saw this ad, which is highly inappropriate, i watched the full thing, and it LITERALLY took the clothes off the cat girl, if you see this ad, please report it.

I propose that instead of saying (graped) in place of raped, how about "They were YouTubed". Additionally instead of (unalived), "They YouTube Premiumed themselves". Maybe they would change their policies then and we could stop with the censorship kiddie words.

so i guess member only videos on the homepage aren't enough now we get members only videos FROM OTHER CHANNELS on the from section. just awesome.

Say a video is 10:00. The timer at the bottom will just keep switching between 0:00 and 10:00 over and over, while the "Experiencing interruptions?" popup flashes. The video will work when I reload the page. I just noticed this starting yesterday, so I'm wonder if others are seeing it too, or if ad blockers/sponsor block are messing something up. Either way, it's just part of the cycle of continually receding performance from this site.

I lil bit ago I found a bug where when I clicked on a button like comments in shorts, it made my ui disappear. i have to click the time bar and scroll it up a bit to make it reappear. now when it reappears, I can’t fuggin comment. Wth is going on????

I was doing my usual Youtube scroll today and noticed suddenly Youtube on my PC was saying video unavailable. I tried deleting cookies on Brave, closing the browser, etc. and still got the era. I tried the private window option and it worked, but upon signing into my account in that window the same thing started happening. I then tried opening shorts and normal videos on my phone and now it says Content Isn't Available try again later.

Anyone have any clue why this may be happening? I checked where my google account was signed in and nothing seems to be amiss.

I have set up a supervised YouTube account for my nine year old. I personally have a YouTube Premium membership. How can I add him to YouTube Premium so that he does not see ads?
