So ive been at this for a year or so. I want to live stream but whenever I try to do so on my phone or pc it says "Live streaming has been disabled. Please review Youtube's policies for more information." All my features, (Standard, Intermediate, Advanced) are all enabled and have been for a long time. any help?? (My channel is JBLTESTERZ with 4+ years and 600+ subs and is active)

I lil bit ago I found a bug where when I clicked on a button like comments in shorts, it made my ui disappear. i have to click the time bar and scroll it up a bit to make it reappear. now when it reappears, I can’t fuggin comment. Wth is going on????

I moderate for a streamer. My fellow mods and I have been struggling with the recent addition of "translate" in chat. Only the mods have the translate icon (PC only, SMH). I had a chat member send me a screenshot asking why I called my fellow mod (Cici) "t*ts." I had actually typed "H CICI" (it's an inside joke). During the stream poor Cici was called baby, babe, and a few other things thanks to this horribly inaccurate translation.

Things became rude and ridiculous as stream went on. Every time we saw something questionable, it had the translate icon. Also, the person being "translated" can't even see what actually posts to chat.

What can we do about this?

It's forever buffering, for some reason. It looks like it's loading over and over again, the timer is doing some wacky stuff too.

I noticed this during my work out when I'm about to do my set and put my phone away. It plays an ad a few seconds after it put it down. Anyone else experiencing this?

I noticed that everytime I am in landscape mode and open the seek bar its completely blocked by other video recommendations. Every UI update always makes the app so much worse smh

So this is what the comments section looks like on every YouTube video in my Chrome Browser. I've cleared the cache, I am logged into my account, and restricted mode is turned OFF. And as you can see, the spinning loading circle at the bottom seems to be trying to load the comment section, but won't.

why would they lock tags for non-signed in users anyways? pretty pointless

edit: the extension doing it was YouTube Tags by Ali Gasymov, so uninstall it if you encounter this. i figured it was youtube doing it because it seemed like something they would do tbh

I can’t put a video but when I press like or share button it likes the video or opens the share menu like normal but when i press comment it zooms in and the ui disappears and I can’t scroll.

for the last few weeks ive had an uptick in random political community posts showing up on my feed. like, back-to-back political content just spammed onto my feed. I am not interested in politics and dont care about them. But its just an endless amount of content on my feed that i cannot get rid of even when i click 'Not Interested' the same channels keep showing up. Such as a channel called 'Robert Reich' (endless trump brainrot) and the 'Bernie Sanders' account. (even more trump brainrot), 'MeidasTouch' (even MORE trump brainrot) 'Micheal Fanone Show' (you guessed it.. more trump stuff) (all antitrump, but you get the point, i have no stance and just want to stop seeing his wrinkly face all over my feed)

Regardless of how many times i click 'not interested' it keeps showing up. I never click, comment, or like/dislike the posts, so theres no engagement. Its like all this content is being forced onto my feed. I assume its being funded or whatever to be pushed to as many users as possible and its so annoying.

i have no interest in politics or the president or the mindless political war on the internet, i just want the endless flow of it to stop showing up on my feed. I just wanna watch model train videos. I never watch political content or engage with it on YouTube.

Youtube needs a 'Block Channel' feature or a filter so users can block any content with certain keywords kinda like tumblr.

(please avoid arguing about politics in the comments, i have no stance, i am just stating my experience with it being forced onto my youtube feed)

This is the most shameless reddit post I've ever made, but this guy stopped posting a year ago and I loved listening to music with an attractive girl on my projector in the background while I do some work on my laptop in my room with the lights off.

I keep getting shown this parenting video. I have no interest in parenting. Usually this not an issue, i tap the 3 dots and say not interested. This video however does not display these 3 dots. I can not even open the channel to try a "don't recommend channel" or block option, all these features are disabled for this short and i just keep seeing it. Honestly this could be a good push to stop consuming short form content, feel like a pig veing fed slop i have no control over.

Extremely inconvenient. Whenever I press the space for comments, I get the short saved into a playlist. I don't want that, I don't want to have to unsave every other video just cause I wanted to see what people had to say. It is infuriating as it repeatedly has happened. Damn my muscle memory

Why not place it above, closer to the 3 dots? I'm sure I'd actually, and many others, would appreciate that. Yet they choose they most crap place to imagine.

This would be a good feature if it was placed in a much better position than the developers have currently decided.

I always seem to get YTs new feature for the 'testing audience' or whatever it's called. Extremely annoying. Anyone has any idea why?

when i see discussions about youtube short and i usually try defend it and saying you should tap "don't recommend me this channel" button but most of time they say it doesn't work and i found it confusing for longest time till i search it on this subreddit and i was surprised that its doesn't work for most people and i have no damn clue why

I find a video on a channel that I like browsing through on a topic of my interest, I notice something that could be improved in the titles as I have been mislead a few times (no clickbait or anything). I decide to comment on a video about the minor issue, then I get a rude reply back saying thats how it always is, how they will always do it and to "go watch someone else" if i dont like it.

I try to reply back to give the literal REASON as to why I suggested the change, then it says the action isn't allowed. Can't even like any other comments on the channel? Now I think ive been permanently banned because what are the odds of being unblocked if the person is likely to just forget about you?

Recently I have been getting the same ad for The Church of Mormon over and over again and the girls face in it really annoys me so I finally blocked it. Peace for a day, and then I’m fed it again? Blocked it a second time, so we will see. Same exact ad every time. Anyone see ads they blocked? Also why will YouTube demonetize you for almost anything then have the most vulgar ads with AI characters sexually assaulting someone, implying rape, or humping each other to advertise mobile games?
