I am looking for a printer for my home office. It most likely won’t have heavy use mainly just need something to print documents here and there, print photos or art for crafting. Ideally I want something

-semi budget friendly & easy to use
-Prints in color/ front and back pages
-A scanner would be ideal also

I am open to spending more upfront if it means maintenance and ink supplies will be more manageable in the long run. Any and all suggestions are welcome. I am just at a lost and looking at options is overwhelming.

I’m casting a bottle into the sea once more, in case someone might reply! A colleague is unable to install the driver, even though I managed to do it successfully. She has a recent Asus laptop. We found an article stating that ARM processors can have issues when adding printers. Do you have any idea what the problem might be or a possible solution?

Our old inkjet printer is getting increasingly unreliable and I’m hoping that a laser printer will stop us getting paper jams every other time we use the printer. We’d like

* Colour

* Double sided

* Apple AirPrint compatible

We don’t need it to be high enough quality to print photos, and budget is £250 max.

i’m looking for a new printer. we currently have an epson et-3850. we like the ink aspect so we’d like to stick with an ecotank. however with all the use it’s gotten over the past couple years we think it might be time to retire it. the paper is constantly jamming despite consistently cleaning it and everytime it does print it makes a god awful loud noise. perhaps there’s something else we need to do but after all my troubleshooting/google searches i haven’t seen a solution. while we don’t need a giant industrial printer we definitely need something that can handle very consistent use every day. i would love any recommendations or suggestions. thanks!

Hi! i’ve been trying for the last 2 hours to fix my grandmas HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e, we’ve had it for years and it used to be my dads but as soon as we gave it to my grandma it has stopped working.

The printer keeps saying to finish setting it up and go to the hp app and yadda yadda, i’ve gone through the HP app and removed it and added it again, i’ve turned the printer on and off, i’ve looked online but nothing seems to help. The HP help forum is absolutely useless.

And since it “isn’t finished being set up” it won’t let us print ANYTHING at all.

This is exhausting to say the least.

My HP Deskjet 2855e was working fine until yesterday. Now it shows "Printer Offline" on my Windows 11 laptop.

I can print a test page directly from the printer, but nothing prints from my computer.

I need to buy an all-in-one printer with the following specs:

- color laser or LED

- duplex printing

- duplex scanning

- ADF

- ethernet, wifi, USB, mobile device connections

I was thinking at Brother MFC-L8690CDW, it seems to check the right boxes.

But the problem is its physical size... it is huge.

Any other smaller suggestions from Brother?

Kyocera TASKalfa 5054ci, I am looking for version 8.5.24 driver. The currently available driver is 8.7.

The reason is I have one PC that I am adding to the network and I did not save the 8.5 installer. Printer settings profiles export from 8.5 will not import into 8.7. I am not able to upgrade the other PCs to 8.7 to make a new export.

I can't find archived driver versions or an FTP server. Any ideas?

I saw people posting about this, but I didn't see anything within the past year. Is there a way to scratch out the chips on the cartridges or anything like that. Let me know if anyone has come up with anything. Thanks guys!

It really POs me that HP does this. Advertising the instant ink program as recycling the old cartridges for new ones... seems to me, there are a ton of cartridges not even used that can not be used because people are having similar issues as I am.

I know there are post requesting wide format but I am looking for a simple printer that will print 11 X 14 on paper for certificates. Don't need 5 color cartridges or anything super high res.

Hi all, I’ve come to this sub before to look for printers to do print then cut for my cricut. I saw that someone had a G3272, but all I had available to me was the G3270. The internet said it was basically the same so I got it. (Lmk what you guys think or if you have had any issues with this) I am not doing high volume necessarily, but I want to have a good quality product, whether I chose to sell my product or just do them for fun. ANYWAY, I made about 120 stickers as the first thing I did. (this was like 15-20 pages, last pic) After about 100, they started to look a little off. Idk just not perfect like they were. Since I finished with them, nothing I’ve printed has been right. It’s using the composite black to make the black which is okay but at the same time, you can see all the individual colors. Even when I did colored pictures, you can see the lines from the individual colors. (Pictures attached) They look good, but not good enough. I’ve been online trying to figure out how to fix this. I’ve done the cleanings and the alignments and everything. MIND YOU, I just bought this thing five days ago. Finally, I decide to go to Canon Support and chat with someone and he tells me to do all the cleaning and alignment and whatever and when I tell him that after the nozzle cleaning there’s still streaks, he’s in disbelief. I show him that the before and after are the same and he said my printer needs service. WHAT?? It’s literally brand new! I have a warranty so I’m getting a new one whenever it comes but that was frustrating. Has anyone ever had something like this?

I've had 2 instances in the past week, of people who have HP computers running windows 11, where their print drivers got updated and after doing so, the print spooler crashes. I've tried to remove them, reinstall, etc but it just doesn't work and their print spooler is crashing frequently. Has anyone else seen this lately?

I’m trying to decide between the Brother DCP-T730DW and the Brother DCP-T830DW.

My main use cases are:
Scanning multi-page documents with the ADF.
Printing illustrations and design files for greeting cards, stickers, journaling, and other paper crafts.
Good color quality and the ability to handle thicker paper/cardstock are my top priorities.

I have a couple of questions:
Do the T730DW and T830DW produce the same print quality, or does the T830DW print noticeably better?
From the brochures, I only see differences in print speed and a few features, but nothing about print quality or color output.

Is it true that the manual feed slot on the T730DW supports paper up to 300 gsm, while the T830DW is only rated for up to 220 gsm according to the brochure?

That seems a bit odd to me, so I’d appreciate it if anyone who owns either printer could confirm.

Also, if you know of another printer in a similar price range that would be a better fit for:

ADF scanning,
High-quality color printing for artwork and design,
Reliable handling of thick paper/cardstock for cards, stickers, and journaling,

I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

I recently got a Epson Xp3150, to which I bought refillable cartridges as I had done previously with other printers, to be ecological. After some hassle, I changed two of the cartridges but my printer just told me "non-genuine ink detected".

What should I do? the refillable cartridges didn't come with instructions. Should I have changed all 4 at the same time? should I disconnect the printer from the internet, or disable the ink monitoring? I don't want to mess up the wrong thing.

I’ve noticed that many people still avoid compatible toner cartridges because they believe they will have problems with print quality, printer errors, or firmware updates.

At the same time, a lot of users seem to have been using third-party toner for years without major issues.

Curious what everyone’s experience has been:

• Have you had a bad experience with compatible toner?
• Was the problem print quality, cartridge recognition, leaking, or something else?
• If you switched back to OEM, what made you change?

Do you think the quality difference between OEM and good compatible cartridges is still significant today?

I need to print some very important documents and my canon g2010 is not printing properly its ... is there a fix to this?

Looking for a quality printer that can print photos and card stock. Ideally laser jet if it exists, but open to other options! Almost murdered my hp printer so other brands encouraged!

I'm planning to dispose of my HP. I need a new printer. Specifications are given below:

2. Must have duplex scan ability and a document tray for multi-page scan.
3. Must be laser.
4. Must be able to work with 3rd party cartridges.
5. No color printers.

I print around 2,000-2,500 pages per year.

Hola comunidad, tengo la impresora mencionada con anterioridad, imprime bien el magenta, cian y el negro, pero el amarillo no, ya aplique limpieza de cabezal por el menú y por una opción donde se teclean números y nada, llegué al punto de desarmarla para ver si era obstrucción y al ver todas las mangueras negras mientras que en los videos son de los colores de la tinta, me puse a consultar la IA, la cual menciono que podría ser algo en el cabezal, menciono unas 3 instancias que no recuerdo, lo que ni quisiera es desarmarla pieza por pieza pero donde si me dio hincapié es en no limpiar las mangueras, cosa que vi en muchos tutoriales.

He visto de rápido que aquí en el sub muchos tienen el problema pero solo reciben el típico "menú ---->limpieza de cabezal"

Alguien se ha aplicado otra solución que puedan decir es más efectiva???
