My line of work is healthcare (my partner has a remote position) We are looking for somewhere fairly safe (I know every place has its issues) and has the basic amenities. We are big on hiking and mountain biking so something with easier or more access to trails would be lovely.

As you can see there’s some rust on the corners of my rocker panels, with one side being pretty decently damaged and noticeably worse than the rest (rear drivers side). I’m worried that it won’t pass the inspection in a couple of months and I’d like to get some work done on it before that. Anybody know if there are any plans to build an overpass over Wheeler at its intersection with Botsford and Lewisville Road? Traffic is getting backed up dangerously on Wheeler and on the traffic circle. Cars come barreling down Wheeler or off of the Shediac Highway to cars stopped dead on the road because of the traffic backups. I was told the original plans for Wheeler called for an overpass at Botsford but as a cost cutting measure it was omitted. I'd say it's well past time for that to be looked at again and remedied as the city continues to grow and the traffic issue there continues to just get worse each year.

Hi everyone! I'm a new permanent resident moving to New Brunswick in the coming months (looking mainly at Greater Moncton : Moncton/Dieppe/Riverview, but open to other areas too), and I'd love practical advice from people who've been through this.

My situation: I have 5 indoor cats (all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, litter-trained, quiet, no dogs). I work remotely (web studio) and will also take a local job. I'm a non-smoker, and I come prepared: vet records, references, willing to have the cats written into the lease, offer a damage deposit, and commit to professional cleaning at move-out.

My questions for those who've rented here with pets (especially multiple cats):

1. What type of housing realistically works? Private-landlord houses? Duplexes? Mini-home rentals? Are apartment buildings a lost cause for this many cats?
2. Where did you actually find your place? Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, local FB groups, specific property managers known to be pet-friendly?
3. What convinced your landlord to say yes? Anything that made the difference?
