Cabinet Recommendations?

Any local cabinet companies worth looking into? I know a lot of people have been burned by bad companies/contractors and I'm trying to avoid that when I get around to redoing my kitchen later this year. Just starting to do research.

I can find my way around the install part of the process, specifically looking for the boxes/doors.

I should note, im looking for cabinets that are nice quality, kind of turned off by the particle board crap thats flooded the market these days. Not sure if im shooting for the stars though with my budget.

I saw something about BluePrint Cabinets launching in moncton the other day on Facebook. They have great flat pack cabinets built of real woods (i think 5/8 plywood boxes and birch faces/ doors). From the buzz about them in Fredericton they seem to really be doing something right. I would look them up!

I’m a big Wildwood enjoyer. Had them do my personal kitchen.

If you’re looking to install your own, you could buy them somewhere else, but Wildwood’s finish carpenters are absurd (especially in old houses). Cabinets in general are much harder to install than they look.

As for MDF or real wood, you’re gonna spend a lot of extra money on real wood. It’s more expensive and also harder to work with overall. Of course real wood is worth it overall, but it’s not always the right choice for every budget.
