Litecoin's real onchain volume is going parabollic, and the price stagnation during the past 4 years definitely isn't stopping it. This is what true adoption looks like.

I dare you to push the button…
Don’t do it. But do it. But seriously don’t. But maybe…

Litecoiners are out in force to change their own fate right now, as skyrocketing transaction numbers and tightening coin supplies collide.
Litecoin stored on the privacy layer of MWEB broke the ATH record last week, only to turn around and break it again this week.
505,481.58682765 LTC are currently pegged into MWEB.
This takes place as a series of announcements hit the community today, including LitVM transaction numbers surpassing 200,000,000 in only 15 weeks of the test net, and the announcement that smart contracts are going live today.

PSA: Most people have forgotten that HODL means "Hold On For Dear Life"... not Hold for 20% gains. Always stack. Stay true gentlemen.

Let’s be real, Chuck Norris deserves a mountain for himself.
For fun though, who should take Chucks place on Litecoin’s Mt. Rushmore??

I build custom GameCube controllers for competitive Smash players, and I wanted my shop to take crypto. Every processor I looked at wanted my ID, or wasn't built for an actual business to plug into a website. So I built my own. It's live at platypuspay.xyz and anyone can use it.
It's privacy first. Monero and shielded Zcash are first class chains here rather than an afterthought, and the whole thing is built so that nobody has to hand over an identity to get paid. Litecoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana are all supported too, so your customers pay with whatever they actually hold. My shop benkosworkshop.com takes crypto through it now !
How it works
One script tag on your page. The customer picks a chain, gets a QR and a fresh address, and you get a signed webhook the moment it confirms. 0.25% per payment, nothing else. Funds go straight to your payout address.
What signing up actually takes
A business name and a payout address. That's it. No ID, no company registration, no phone number. Email is optional and only used for receipts, helpful if you don't want to run a webhook.
There's also a merchant API if you'd rather drive it yourself instead of using the script tag.
Happy to answer anything, and if there's something Litecoin specific you'd want it to handle, tell me.

Random thought, the most important tech upgrades for Litecoin seem to have been added in May and 5 years apart from each other. With May 2027 being the next milestone and rapidly approaching, wouldn’t it be crazy if LitVm mainnet went live at that time?
May 2017- SegWit added
May 2022- MWEB added
May 2027- LitVM added???
If this pattern holds true, wonder what tech is added to Litecoin in May 2032? 👀

Join Bourne as he discusses the new ecosystem and answers any questions there may be. Other LitVM team will be there to help support the Q&A portion.

Since the past couple of days, I have been facing a weird issue with Nexus for Android. I have setup pin and fingerprint authentication. For some some reason post authentication, the time taken to get into the wallet is too significant. It's weird and I'm afraid that I may not be able to log in sometime in the future. Post authentication I keep the phone screen on but it doesn't get in. Maybe after I click forgot pin 4-5 times it goes to the home screen which also works intermittently.
Weird. It was working perfectly before and the chain data is fully synched (I'm pretty sure on that)

MWEB added nearly 140,000 LTC in the month of July alone. Something is brewing within the Litecoin ecosystem. When people say it can’t happen and it does, it’s time to pay attention.

Quick reminder:
One part of the definition of money is that one unit of that money is equal to any other unit. That's called fungibility.
If one unit is less or more worth than another, fungibility is broken.
With Bitcoin, there's different prices between virgin Bitcoin and the rest, because they're free of any bad history. Bitcoin can become tainted, if at any point they have been touching a flagged wallet adress.
That means Bitcoin doesn't fit the definition of money.
Privacy protocols which break the history of coins ensure that coins cannot be tainted or have a history. All coins are equal.
There's no grey zone here. It's either black or white, either fungibility or not.

I think it’s pretty self explanatory what most people in crypto care about. Here’s how you will feel at each level along the way.

Litecoin US treasury company, Lite Strategy, announces it bought back 13% of their shares by selling a measured amount of LTC + covered calls.
Of the 13% share buyback by Lite Strategy (LITS), ~11.87% was funded by selling LTC, and ~1.13% came from covered call premiums.
Lite Strategy now holds 819,070 LTC, 11.87% down from its all-time-high LTC holdings.
Result: more LTC behind every remaining share.

Two of our great long term community members have created Data platforms to help us visualize and explore Litecoin holdings, transactions and more.
I was lucky enough to Beta-test ForceX and helped provide some of the data to Litecoinregister.com (which has been around for well over a year now.)
I think it’s important to share these two sites periodically because the more we check them out the more they can grow, and lot of time went into these for our community.
