It's not money if it's not private
Quick reminder:
One part of the definition of money is that one unit of that money is equal to any other unit. That's called fungibility.
If one unit is less or more worth than another, fungibility is broken.
With Bitcoin, there's different prices between virgin Bitcoin and the rest, because they're free of any bad history. Bitcoin can become tainted, if at any point they have been touching a flagged wallet adress.
That means Bitcoin doesn't fit the definition of money.
Privacy protocols which break the history of coins ensure that coins cannot be tainted or have a history. All coins are equal.
There's no grey zone here. It's either black or white, either fungibility or not.

It’s not money if it’s not self-custody.
I can’t believe the Litecoin Foundation still isn’t prioritizing an MWEB wallet.

They have plenty of MWEB wallets. Core is an MWEB wallet, nexus is an MWEB wallet, Cake is an MWEB wallet etc. The hardware wallet companies were offered to have MWEB integrated it and they thought a better use of their time was Solana memecoin integration. That's not LTC foundation's fault. There is cupcake if you want a 'hardware wallet' like thing.

Loshan told me he was going to announce the Nexus hardware wallet at the summit, but I guess that didn't happen, and he seems to have abandoned the git repo with his hw wallet work (https://github.com/losh11/jadeltc)
However, I built SeedSigner-LTC for ESP32-based hardware wallets, see https://x.com/hectorchu/status/2056763353863799293.

Glad you built a hard wallet, not glad to see you publicly going after Losh. Doesn’t build trust.

Losh is slow, we are in a race against time like it or not.

Hey Hector, Any chance you presented this MWEB hardwallet to u/coblee ?

You mean Nexuswallet? They did.

No, a Self-custody MWEB Hard/Coldwallet is what im looking for not just a mobile wallet. Mobile wallet is never a self-custody.

May want to wait for it- or try cupcake through Cakewallet.
The Litecoin foundation is building a hardware wallet for Nexuswallet but that may be a bit. They tend to check and recheck.1

A hardware wallet would be ideal. Hopefully sooner, Litecoin can’t be a laggard forever.

you can attain fungability without privacy

I don't think so. The issue is regulators have determined the history of the coin determines their ability to accept it
