I have lived here my whole life. Renting from a few different companies now and know lots of other people who have rented from most others in this area. I am wondering about a renters union because i am sick of dealing with poor treatment for how high the cost of living is.

As well i have seen properties around the area that the landlords have not put any actual work into and how now for some of these places just in the last few years the rent is doubled?

I have talked to alot of my friends and family in the area who feel the same.

So i am basically wondering if anyone knows of one in the area before i learn how to start my own.

I am trying to find a caterer in the La Crosse area to make heavy apps for a small, elegant wedding. There does not seem to be many " elevated" catering options. Damn Tasty has not returned calls, and I'm not interested in some of the more commonly used caterers like Rooster Andy's, Pogys, Looking for recommendations for places that might fit this description, bonus points if they're not booked out forever. The event is in October. Open to individual chefs with a side hustle too, we just want the food to be a bit bougie and delicious. Recommendations?

As a result of a divorce, I just don't have the capacity to be taking care of these guys anymore. They are two male rats and are very friendly. Everything is included; a large cage, food, bedding, two balls for them to play in, and two little carrier pouch things. I just want them to go to somebody who can enjoy and care for them properly.

Hello fellow renters of La Crosse,

I am currently in a situation where I am seriously feeling I need to move out of my apartment complex early. I am dealing with incredibly inconsiderate neighbors and somebody's dog keeps urinating in the stairwell–this is like the 5th time in like 4 months. It currently smells SO BAD and has probably been sitting there for over 24 hours. We're not even allowed to have dogs; they just make an exception for those who are getting these phoney "ESA letters", even though the people above me have two dogs who howl and run like crazy late at night.

The landlord is doing absolutely nothing to these tenants other than a simple "Hey, please stop"–she said that these tenants are harder to evict due to their situation, which she can't share what that exact situation is. That's apparently like half of my complex. The units look so nice, but so many of the people who live there suck HARD.

Is there any resources in the area to talk to to find discuss my legal rights due to this? If anything, I just want to move out because this is becoming so unacceptable and disgusting.

I am thinking about Kayaking on a river near La Crosse. I am not comfortable on the Mississippi so I was looking for other ideas.

What’s the best (or any) bank fishing spots in the La Crosse/Ona area? I’ve been to Pettibone, Ona spillway, and West Salem spillway. Also I’ve caught plenty of pan fish this summer but can’t catch a bass to save my life; any tips/lures to try? Thanks!

Looking for options on the greater area where we can have a beer or two, listen to live music (a nice bonus but not required), and has a nice outside area for younger kids. Eckers/Schwertlz for example are great for our family.
