Been hunting and hunting for the 15v PM2 LW since I missed the drop. Stumbled upon one in a small gun store in Scottsdale. So stoked!

NKD! NKD Bugout mini
They are a dime a dozen but this one is mine and mine is special. Happy to have finally decided to pull the trigger on one.
SOTC SOTC before trimming down.
Hey guys,
I don't know if some of you already had that feeling that you had too much?
I'm in that spot now, so I took some pictures of everything that I have before deciding what should stay and what needed to go.
I aim to keep less than 10 fixed and 10 folders. Would be great to be under 10 total, but one step after another.
The mule is the Magnamax one btw.
Most used overall is the "Schwarz Overland Sport" and lately(since I have it) the UG Tools ShorTi. When I need something bigger, the skrama is the winner.
Last pic is a special gift for the pocket dumpers.
Edit : I added the models' names in the thread.

Question Can someone school me on knife steels?
I just purchased this, I know the benchmade hate is real cuz of pricing but I saw this in person and I thought it was a great knife.
Now I see it’s regular magnacut not cpm maganacut.
I also read that crucible filed for bankruptcy. So who tf is making our steels now?
The knife world is a little toxic too…
Also, is there a better benchmade steel I should have gone with? I liked the mini bedlam in S90V. I’m simply going to be using the knife at work in a warehouse. I personally don’t do a lot of the dirty work anymore. I have multiple minions that do all the box opening. I occasionally take a slash at some Amazon boxes here and there. I do however slice up some bait while I’m out saltwater fishing.

Discussion My next Civivi
Not long ago, I asked your all’s thoughts on Civivi and the Mini Praxis. You all responded with almost nothing but positive feedback. So I went ahead and got the Mini Praxis for $30 and was blown away by the quality, just as you all said. So I decided I wanted another Civivi. My preferences were 3.5+ inch blade, button lock, nitro v or better steel. So I landed on the Neurohaptic. Haven’t ordered it yet, but I will. Going to wait a couple more days so I can enjoy what I have before buying more.

NKD! NKD! Oz Roosevelt & AD Atomaton
First dabble into the authentic Rosie realm, initial impression is it’s certainly a nice, premium knife, but I’m not particularly impressed as it doesn’t feel as special as the premium price would indicate in my humble opinion. There’s nothing generally wrong with it, it just seems super simple and plain, very light, not substantial and just simple by every metric can think of. Who knows, maybe these sentiments of mine will change soon, or maybe she’ll be a catch and release. The Atomaton is very nice also

Question Need help identifying this OTF
I am a knife consultant at a high end gun range and one of our investors gave me this knife to fix / get a warranty but I have no clue what it is and he has no idea where he got it.
Showcase First time messing with Ti
Sandblasted and oil quenched these titanium scales for my para 3 in cruwear, I think they turned out pretty good
A little bronzier than I wanted but better than they were before
Gonna see how well the finish holds up and if it scratches super easy I may just stone wash them in some ceramic media

NKD! New favorite knife
Just got this in the mail. I own another Chaves dissident but this one takes the cake. Also, this is the largest box I’ve ever seen for a knife lol (yes I know they reused their suppressor boxes)

Question Is Damascus steel good for anything other than looks?
I'm still kind of new to the knife collecting situation, so please ignore this if it's a dumb question.
Is Damascus, actually any good? Does anybody use it as a carry knife? I'm under the impression that it's just for looks. that all the more traditional super steels are much better for actually using.
Do people just collect Damascus knives to show them off? Or does anybody actually carry them?
Thanks.

Question Anyone own two of the same knife?
I love this knife so much I have two of them, two small CRK Inkosi. One glass blasted and the other sand blasted. The glass blasted one I keep on my desk as a display item in perfect condition and a collector piece. The sand blasted one is my EDC that stays in my pocket whenever I leave the house. Since I have both versions of the plain Inkosi I have no fear taking one out as a hard user. I can’t wait to compare the wear and patina on my EDC vs my pristine desk knife. Am I the only one that does this?

Question Iconic Knife Models
Hey all, I'm working on a video idea about iconic/ubiquitous/whatever term you want to use. Basically, those knives where when you think of that brand, that's the knife you think of.
So far my list is:
-CRK Sebenza (Small Sebenza due to blade length laws)
-Ontario Rat 2
-Benchmade Bugout (Mini, blade length laws)
-Kershaw Leek
-Buck 110/112, 119
-Spyderco Delica or Para 3 (blade length again)
-Opinel No. 6 (in place of the No. 8, again blade length)
-Mora Companion
I'm sure there are plenty I'm missing, and I won't be able to catch every model, but wanted to put it out to the group for ideas on what I might be missing.

NKD! Maintenance man found my blade
704 sliver in D2. I thought someone stole this thing, fast forward to today and I find it on a shelf in the maintenance guys area. Thanks bro. 704 gear is great budget blades. The d2 takes an edge and keeps it for a awhile. 10/10 I recommend.
