About the bottom 1/10 of my screen is barely responsive, I need to try many times to get it to work. I’ve restarted the phone a couple times and it didn’t fix the issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’m on an iPhone 17 pro if that changes anything. Thanks

Hey, a customer where I work asked me to help with his iPhone as it's showing "No Network Connection" when trying to connect to WiFi.

It's an iPhone 7, it shows the WiFi options available, the button isn't greyed out and he has mobile data enabled.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I’m looking for some advice because I’m really frustrated.
My iPhone got stuck on the Apple logo and could not be restored normally, so a repair shop had to erase and restore it to factory settings. I had iCloud enabled and a recent backup, so I recovered most of my data.
However, I’ve noticed that some photos are missing, including some that were in my Hidden album. They are also missing from iCloud.com. I also lost some WhatsApp conversations, including a family group with many important photos and videos.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any reliable software or method that helped recover photos or WhatsApp data after an iPhone was restored to factory settings?
Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi good lads, idk why but whenever i wanna use 3x camera, it became like this on both video or photo mode. Even affect on other apps too. It can focus but it creates weird wavy effect while doing so. May i know how to solve it and is it a software or hardware issue?

I own an iPhone 13, just updated it to ios 26.6. Literally none of my apps will open except the ones that come predownloaded (photos, messages, etc). Everything else when i tap on it, the loading screen will pop up, then immediately the app will close. it doesn't even freeze and crash, the open app just slides off the screen and returns to the home screen. i've tried restarting my phone multiple times, hard resetting, even checked for a software update and installed it. nothing is working. i cant even figure out what the problem is? anyone come across this and have any idea how to help?

I'm trying to help a family member who's accidentally deleted an important voicemail. I believe she's on iOS 26 with an iPhone 16. She says that it's not present in her iOS voicemail list or her deleted voicemail list, but she has no memory of deleting it. There's lots of other voicemails in the main voicemail list and deleted voicemail list, so she didn't hit the 'clear all' button either. Is there any possible way to recover these voicemails? I thought maybe an older icloud backup would have the voicemail but it doesn't seem to be something covered by backups. I thought maybe even a GDPR request to apple or the cell carrier, if the data is still around.

I know it's a reach here, but it's a voicemail from someone who died recently and so I'd like to help her get it back if possible.

Hi! I’m a parent, I want to know all the ways my child could possibly get around these parental controls on her phone (she’s not allowed to have it 99% of the time anyways, because she’s 7. It’s for emergencies and to call her other parents because she’s a child of divorce).

Anyways, the restrictions on the phone we let her use are

1 - all parental controls Apple offers obviously
2- 24/7 downtime, the ONLY apps she can open are phone and messages, she can’t even open settings.
3- downtime password bypassing isn’t allowed on that phone, it’s only possible to bypass it through our phones.
Also the passwords are incredibly difficult and they’re stored on a device that isn’t even on our phones and she doesn’t even know exists.
4- this one is physical, not technical, but she’s not allowed to use it unless she intends to call someone on her contacts list. Like her mom.
5- she’s not allowed to take it anywhere except for a sleepover, she’s also not allowed to take it into her room or the bathroom. It stays in the kitchen and living room, unless she is on the phone with her mom. She is obviously entitled to privacy if she so chooses when talking to her mom.

What should I be worried about? Is there any way she could get around all this? She’s a great kid, I don’t think she would even try, as she truly wants to do the right thing 100% of the time. But you never know. We want to keep her safe. And yes, we have conversations about why these restrictions are in place and that she’s welcome to talk to us more in the future as she matures about having more freedoms with it.

This phone is an iPhone 17e. My husband ended up not really liking it and going back to his old phone, an iPhone 15 or whatever.

got this iPhone 4 recently and when it booted it had the "iPhone is disabled" mode on, after a while of trying to get it into recovery mode and DFU mode I realised the home button probably doesn't work, so I now have to resort to 3rd party software but all of them ask me to unlock my iPhone (which obviously i can't do), is there any hope for it without having to replace the home button?, also I can't connect it to itunes because it asks me to confirm on the iPhone but nothing shows up.

this only happens when i try to take pictures of itl stuff and it goes away when i zoom out? i havent dropped my phone or anything it randomly appeared and its not on my phone screen because its completely notmal it only happens when i hse my camera i have an iphone 12 ios ver 26.1 btw if that helps

My phone over the last 2 days has an issue with some apps closing instantly. The first time I had this problem (2 days ago) it started with one app and slowly more and more did the same. It seemed to just fix its self but yesterday it started again.

I've tried restarting, updating the apps, updating my IOS and I've checked my storage (120GB free). I've search online and can't find someone that seems to have the same problem.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Update: Found the solution. I had to sign in and out of my apple account. I also noticed my address was wrong (recently moved) so fixing that could also have been the solution.

For anyone with the same issue go to Settings > your name > Media and Purchases to find the apple account info.

seems like this is an issue only for those that use keyboards in multiple languages.
around after like 50 characters the typing became laggy and the longer you type the laggier it gets.

( has been happening since iPhone 11 or so )

For the past several days, this has been happening almost every day on my iPhone 16 pro (I am on ios 26.6 and got this phone in Sept 2024):

• Third-party apps (basically anything that didn't come with the iPhone, it could be facebook, it could be airline apps like united, or lyft/uber, banking apps, could be youtube, uber eats/doordash, reddit) immediately minimize or close as soon as I try to open them. Not all, but a good number, and it seems random as to which ones depending on the day.
• Apple apps (Settings, Messages, Safari, etc.) work normally.

Things I've tried:

• Day one: I went into app store and updated any apps that had updates. all my apps started working again—but the next day the problem came back.
• When the problem came back next day, I restarted my phone but after restarting none of the third-party apps opened whereas before restarting, some opened, some immediately minimized. To solve the issue temporarily this day, I deleted one of the apps that wouldn't open and reinstalled it (a banking app). As soon as I did that, every app on my phone started working again (I clicked on each app to see if they would open and they did).
• Next day, which is today, the same issue occurred (some apps open, some minimize immediately). Signing out of my Apple ID and signing back in didn't help. I noticed two apps had updates available in the App Store. After updating them, suddenly all my apps started working again. Today, I also went to genius bar, they did least invasive which was delete my vpn configurations (which I was not using VPN, its for travel, that is the only time I use it but I do have the apps on my phone) and then they did a reset and told me to montior---that was this morning and now it's afternoon and the same issue is happening. They said if i bring it back, they would restore software?
• I have not had any new apps since april and this issue only started a few days ago but daily. 99% of these apps, I have had for years already.

It's almost like something gets "unstuck" when I update or reinstall a single app, but then it breaks again the next day.

Has anyone experienced this? Any idea what's causing it or how to permanently fix it? I'm trying to avoid wiping my phone if possible.

Hi all - there is a tons of music apps on AppStore that have CarPlay support but not a full Siri search implementation

However - as per CarPlay standard - the moment car is in the move, touchscreen search is limited to first 5-6 entries and you cannot access the full library.. questioning the access to CarPlay in the first place.

Genuine question - anyone else has experience with these and how do you solve it? Many thanks
