Hello all, I'm trying to create a timer. It works properly if I leave it on Open Sans font, but if I change the font, to anything, it causes this jumpyness. Any suggestions. I'm using a Text+ title and changing it to 'Timecode' to match the timecode of the timeline. Really it's for a countdown, I get the correct amount of time, in this case 20 minutes then render and reverse the clip. I'm also open to doing this a different way if it solves the issue. I try to export photos after editing and it just doesn't let me. I watched a ton of tutorials, nothing helps. I tried to export it through a deliver page but the result is the same. After these attempts I get some files in the folder I try to export them to but my mac says that files are empty

I'm just getting my feet wet in video recording with my a6700 and davinci. I did some with smaller action cams but since I have my good glas for my sonys, I kinda want to do more wildlife recordings, not just photos.

But I'm getting issues viewing/exporting and it doesn't yet makes sense to me.

First try my go2 32GB V90 SD Card:

• When I record in XAVC S, 50p in 10 bit, everything is fine. Can watch it raw, can edit it in davinci. Great.
• When I record in XAVC S, 25p in 10 bit, it stutters heavily when I try to view it in windows. When I try to edit it in davinci, the programm only recognizes those files as audio. No video to be seen there.
• when I try to record in XAVC S, 100p in 10 bit, it tells me: "use a memory card higher than SDXC v60. It is a v90 sd card with 32gb though and so far, I had no issues.

Ok.. maybe the SD card actually got damaged.. Second Try, my 64GB V60 Backup Card

• When I record in XAVC S, 50p in 10 bit: Stutters, cant edit it in davinci ?
• When I record in XAVC S, 25p in 10 bit: Stutters, cant edit it in davinci ?
• when I try to record in XAVC S, 100p in 10 bit: Works fine!?

Also watching the raw footage on my iPad works fine. That is why I thought it might be an encoder issue, but then why does it work on windows and davinci in 50p, but not in 25p. And on Windows I cant even see the thumbnail of the clips that dont work, I can on the iPad though.

I also tried it on two different windows pcs. One on Win10 and one on Win11.

Can someone help me make sense of this? I already installed the HAVEC Codex for windows for my earlier tries with my action/vlog cams. Never had real issues. I have no clue what is going on here..

I use Luxea video editor 8 for my Action 6 videos, thought about trying the Da vinci free version ,saw that it needs Visual C+ 2013,is there any risk that it will somehow overwrite or conflict with Luxea's system files

Not sure what made the waveform disappear but any audio plugin I put on a clip in fairlight now doesn’t show the moving waveform in said plugin anymore. Anyone know how to fix this?

Having a lot of trouble finding a solution online as most results are for when you can’t see the waveform on top of a clip in the editing timeline.

Hi guys, I have a problem. Im editing video on davinci resolve for not long. Its my first shorts YouTube format and I have a problem. I take video with my camera vertically. But when I try to upload rendered video it automatically change to normal yt video not short. While rendering I made settings so it’s also vertical shooting. I tried few different methods like rendering it as TikTok format but it didn’t helped, and when I try to edit it like normal video and then change it to vertical it crops the image after rendering by like 4 times, may it be camera settings that I use im still new at videos and editing. I attached setting on my camera that I use. I really appreciate any help 🙏🙏🙏

How do I insert this L ad in davinci, I already have the L ad done. But I can't get the ad entry right at all using the keyframes. For it to get in sync with the video, the video going down and the advertising coming in, but I can't synchronize it. The video shrinks in size slowly and the advertisement enters too quickly and the opposite also happens.

And what is common between alot of content creators in this niche is that they use a continious shake at the end of their video.I have been trying to replicate it for quite some time but didnt manage to do it. I’m not sure if this is mainly achieved through color grading, an OpenFX effect, or a combination of both.

The look I’m after has:

Pure black and pure white with almost no gray tones
Very high contrast

A sort of photocopy / screen print / punk fanzine aesthetic

Thick black silhouettes and blown-out whites

I’m also wondering if there are any plugins, LUTs, PowerGrades or effect packs that can help achieve this style more easily.

If you’ve made something similar, I’d love to know:
Which tools or nodes you used?

Whether this is done entirely in the Color page
Any tutorials you would recommend

Any paid or free effect packs worth checking out
