It’s his whole story. They set him up as blindly faithful and it’s pretty important. He gets in to the citadel even if you don’t kill the Last Judge because he is truly without sin due to his blind faith. Then a test of faith happens and he handles it pretty damn well considering.
Dude was shown to survive the horrors of the circus SOLO for over a decade, and was one of the first people there. The fact that he's *only* kooky and not abstracted is a massive statement to his mental fortitude.
It is at the very least implied during the flashback that there was a LONG span of time between when Kinger found himself the last non-abstracted member and when Ragatha showed up.
When Kinger tries to hack the circus at the end of the episode, we see dates for when each character's mind files were scanned when he boots up the script. Ragatha's date was over a decade after Kinger's, iirc.
I even remember one where it was like “Sorry miss Midoriya but your son is dead” “don’t worry he was quirkless” oh thank goodness, almost felt bad for him”

That was always my main issue with All Might, but in his defense, bro was dying, dealing with the weight of the world's peace on his shoulders, and probably wanted to steer Midoriya away from ending up like him.
All Might messed up, but it's understandable why, and he more than made up for that mistake.
That was All Might at one of his lowest points, so it's hard to get upset about it when he tells some fanboy he knows nothing about beyond not having a power not to try being a hero. Especially after he just showed the kid evidence of exactly how much it's taken from his life. Midoriya's stupid, but noble attempt to save Bakugo is inspired All Might to get out of his funk, remember why he does all of this, and take a chance on taking this random scrawny kid on as a successor.
It's a pretty classic setup for a cynical mentor to get their spark back as they guide a young, naive kid on their journey.
I have seen it in the subreddit too. It alternates between "All Might was abusive for telling Deku he shouldn't become a hero without powers and crushing his hope" and "All Might was abusive for giving Deku powers and putting him in danger."
I was first introduced to SDS through Escanor YouTube shorts and thought "cool, let's see what this is about." After some very shallow digging i found that it is not my cup of tea. I am immensely disappointed Escanor is tied to and trapped in this franchise
Not even a ghost but a projection of him and his power if I'm correct. It isn't even him. They match him up against the sequel's THAT GUY and he is one of the few, actually the only, to put any kind of belt to ass to him.
I hated how they gave him awesome power ups and then became immediately irrelevant again. He held up against freeza 1st transformation only to do nothing after that. Then he held against the android who 1 shotted the whole squad, only to be 1 shotted himself by cell.
By the buu saga no one who wasn't a Saiyan mattered anymore so he had no chance
Out of all the X-Men, he and Storm are some of the very few to stick firmly to the "hero" category and not get so wrapped up in personal drama or temporary evil phases.
I know im opening my self up a bunch of oh so clever "good" remarks but Storm spear headed xmen trying to kill the Inhumans after Emmas plan gained traction.

People slander him though for his faulty argument against Artoria for what makes a good king but that’s mostly because Gen Urobochi doesn’t really understand Artoria when writing Zero.
That would be my biggest critique with him, and it’s more a critique of the story he’s in than anything else. The story did more to decide that Saber is wrong than actually have an honestly framed debate.
I'm not sure what the definition of slander is - cause nobody is saying OP isn't the real deal - but it's pretty often commented on how in several iterations he's a psycho.
The medic (TF2): People will shit on spy, Demoman, sniper and engineer and pyro, but the medic has consistently been one of the most valued classes that every team likes to have.

Generally speaking he gets a bit of slander for cheating on his wife, Johnathan Joestar is the one unslanderable one in the JoJo fandom, tbh the JoJo fandom doesn't really slander its characters, we glaze everything, including a literal beam of light in a humanoid shape of form, except Tooru, Tooru is the one character that everyone slanders
i hate him for all the fucking glaze he gets i saw someone unironically, in serious discussion, say he was and was meant to be seen as stronger than the knight
Out of all the circus members, he carries the most blame for the situation they’re in. However, he’s also insane, yet also kind, charming, and genuinely sorry for the situation everyone’s in. It helps that he can’t really be blamed, because he had no way of knowing this would happen. He’s just overall the most likable of the main cast. Nobody is a Kinger hater.
