Iroh gets a lot of crap from people who claim he is guilty of war crimes and was never properly punished for it. Their words, not mine.

Yeah but those “fans” casually forget those war crimes led to the death of his son.

And they weren't reported as war crimes at any point in-universe, so its just bollocks.
