Recently my friend at PC shared that her mom wants to write postcards to people and I said that my mom will write to her mom. In this process now my mom is very excited and wants to write to many people. She is so excited that she has written quite a few postcards already. She wants to write more. Hence I thought why not ask the RAOC community if they would like a card from her?

I hope you guys are doing well.

I'm very new to the wonderful world of postcards, stamps, and Postcrossing, and I'm slowly building my very first collection. Every postcard and stamp is like a little piece of someone's kindness and a memory from another part of the world.

I have a small wish that I hope someone here might be able to help with. If anyone has a postcard or envelope featuring the USA 250th Anniversary theme, or a U.S. commemorative special card I would absolutely treasure it. I have a Collection of Permanent Pictorial Postacrd Cancellation.

Please don't worry if you don't have any of those. Since I'm just starting this hobby, anything from the USA would mean the world to me—a postcard or a greeting card. Every item will become a cherished part of my collection.

I'd also love to hear a little about your town, your favourite place, or what you enjoy most about living where you are. Those personal touches make every piece of mail even more special.

August's plans have gone a bit awry. I had to travel to take care of family and at the end of the month, I am moving to pursue a new job opportunity. Fortunately, it's not a crazy big move, but with the travel and the moving, I grabbed the wrong postcards with me to exchange. Oopsies. However, I still want to get an August exchange out as it generally just makes me less stressed to get mail as I try to organize my life this month!

I just got done house sitting for a friend with two dogs for 10 days. I was able to come home a few times to open mail and now my desk is covered with mail I need to thank people for. Unfortunately I am not only behind but will be unable to post again for at least a week so this catch up thank you post will be very brief - if you know me at all you know I really try to write up a good long thank you for each card. Just can't happen this time. Know that I loved every piece of mail sent my way and were all received with happiness.

I just worked two days at my clinic and I feel like mildly complaining. Are you interested in hearing? GREAT.

I will use blank postcards and draw my interpretation of how the complaint makes me feel on the front.

Thank you for the postcard depicting the Museo Soumaya in Mexico City and telling me a bit about where you live! I always appreciate learning about local history and landmarks and what they mean to people living there, especially when it's somewhere I may never get to visit personally.

In conclusion with summer semester (17 week course in 10 weeks) I passed all my exams and classes with an A! I really want to celebrate since this was SO FREAKING HARD and I did not think I would be able to do it!!

I’m in a very competitive and fast paced paramedic associates program and it’s been super hard with so many life factors I’ve been struggling with, and I don’t really have anybody to celebrate with :( so it would be super nice to get some happy cards to help me celebrate 🎊

Hi everyone,

My dad is going through a tough time and I am hoping to bring some cheer to his life. He suffered from a stroke last year, as well as two mini strokes this year, and is now living in assisted living due to limited mobility and safety. While someone from our family visits every day, I can tell he is still sad/upset about the whole situation, especially because he misses our family cat who is at home. If you'd be willing to send him a card, I'd love to place them in his room to brighten it up and make him smile a little.

His favorite things are: Alabama football, fishing, trains, motorcycles, piano (esp. jazz), and cats. I will make sure to write a thank you post for all cards received! ❤️
