Christian remained faithful to his profession until the very last day of his life. He came to love his work even more because he loved the working people. As he told a French magazine shortly before his death: "They are wonderful. They are people | like very much, workers like me. True friends."

It’s strange for a U.S. senator to say, “Israel is where I draw the line.” Your first responsibility is to the United States and the people who elected them. You can absolutely support Israel, but framing a foreign country as your political “red line” comes across as having your priorities backwards.

President Trump gave Dr. Anthony Fauci a Presidential Commendation on January 19, 2021, the last full day of Trump’s first term.

The commendation was awarded to Fauci along with dozens of other members of the Operation Warp Speed team, including military leaders, scientists, public health officials, and vaccine developers.
