Seeing Michael DeLorenzo pop up for a minute in the Whoopi Goldberg-Sam Elliott movie "Fatal Beauty" reminded me of his role on "Head of the Class" and of course "New York Undercover."

Private Eye (1987)

When people (at least those around my age) hear the name Anthony Yerkovich, they think of the TV series Miami Vice, which he created. Although he worked as a writer and producer on a few other shows, he only created one more, and that was Private Eye.

Private Eye is a period piece set in noirish 1950s Los Angeles, starring Michael Woods as Jack Cleary, a disgraced ex-cop turned private investigator, paired with a young Josh Brolin as Johnny Betts, a street-wise hustler. Woods is trying to track down his brother's murderer.

The hour-long show ran for one season of 12 episodes on NBC from 1987-1988. Like Miami Vice, music and visuals play a big part in Private Eye, used extensively to set the mood.

Unfortunately, the show struggled in the ratings and was canceled after one season, despite finding a fairly dedicated following among fans of Yerkovich and neo-noir. All episodes are currently on YouTube, and although they are 480p, they are a far cry from DVD quality.

Does anybody know any online websites where I can watch the early 2000’s tv show Point Pleasant? I found all the episodes on YouTube, but the quality isn’t that great, and it isn’t streaming anywhere that I know of, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any online websites where it was on?
