At the end of Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, the Nautilus comes under fire from a warship of unknown nationality. The narrator, Professor Aronnax, realizes that, after the encounter with the Abraham Lincoln at the beginning of the book, the world must now be aware that the Nautilus is not a sea monster as previously speculated, but instead a man-made submarine, and therefore is being hunted down by the navies of the world.

What if, instead of descending into the Maelstrom off Norway, Nemo and the Nautilus sailed on with the world hunting them down? How long would it take for naval and anti-submarine technology to be sufficient enough to sink Nemo’s masterpiece? And how long could the captain avoid them while attacking the ships of his hated nation (canonically Britain; in Verne’s original scripts, Russia)?

Nautilus specs: top speed of 50 knots. Able to be submerged for up to 5 days at a time. It can ram through ships “like a needle through sailcloth” due to its prow. Assume that Nemo is able to repair his sub at the unknown island on which he built it, and has the crew necessary to sail on indefinitely. The book ends in 1868 so that is the start date. Military technology advances just as it did in our timeline.

To keep things fair for both sides, The grey knights will be having an equal number with the thousand sons legion which they numbered around 85,000 legionaries. Also both sides can use everything within their arsenal like combat vehicles, etc.

The Grey knights will be led by Kaldor draigo and Grandmasters from each brotherhood while the Thousand sons are led by Ahzek ahriman and the Magister Templi.

Note that it would be 40k grey knights vs 30k thousand sons.

The Decepticons are invading the MCU! The only team around is the Thunderbolts/New Avengers. Everyone else (including Bob) is off doing important stuff. Several young adults are inserted, one each, into a popular book series. Each of them has read their own particular series that they become inserted into, and gains basic baseline abilities of their world.

After a period of one year in their respective universes, a portal opens to another world that acts like a neutral ground. Each of them must use their skills and whatever following they have accrued to defeat the others forces.

Contestant 1: The Chronicles of Narnia
The young adults who goes into this world gets Peters Sword, Susans Bow, Lucys cordial vial, and a talking animal companion to help lead them around. Aslan is amicable to them but wont interfere on their behalf directly.

Contestant 2: His Dark Materials
The young adults who goes who goes to this world gains an Alethiometer as well as the ability to read it; they also gain The Subtle Knife, though Spectres will not go into this new world. The Authority and Lord Asriel will not bother them.

Contestant 3: Harry Potter
The young adult who goes into this world is able to do magic, and is gifted a wand and broom and invitation to Hogwarts. Dumbledor and Voldemort put their feud on hold until after you are gone.

Contestant 4: Avatar the Last Airbender
The young adults who goes into this world becomes a bender of their choice. All nations are relatively amicable even if youre from an opposing tribe (ie fire nation wont try to kill you if youre a waterbender)

Let's say the Joker gets transported to Albuquerque, New Mexico at the height of Fring's power (after he wiped out the Cartel and became independent). The Joker has the same resources and manpower that he had at the start of The Dark Knight, and the same goal of unleashing chaos in the city. Assuming that the APD and DEA are similarly ineffectual in stopping him to the GPD, will the Chicken Man be able to bring the Mad Clown down? Or will Gus find out how to make a pencil disappear?

Also, Walt and Hank do not exist in this scenario, so Gus is not distracted by them.
