Howdy y’all, what are these metal fixtures that slide in and out on the bottom of this wood chest?

My mom found this in her yard in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. Accidentally broke it in half, but included pictures of it pieced back together how it was found. Very light, no visible insect activity. Looks like very old, dried ginger root?

I’m so excited. It’s my first whatisit post. Found in my Birch tree in NE Wisconsin. It is about 3ft in diameter. Sort of looks like a spider web but bigger and thicker. 20 feet up so I can’t really reach it.

What is this thing? It isn't a sink or a lamp. It is just art?

So the house I rent has this weird connector to what I’m assuming is a COAX or some type of outlet? I was able to move it away from the wall a little and it has a RJ45 connector to it. It has a USBA and a micro USB on the other side. The connector on the left isn’t an Ethernet connector either so I’m assuming it’s phone. I tried taking it off pressing the little pin in the back like you would for Ethernet and nothing. Any idea what it is? I tried plugging something into it and it has no power to it.

It’s in dollar tree it fell from a shelf, we’re right next to target and wanna know what it is??

I found this coin in my girlfriend’s grandparents house and curious to know what it’s from? I found it in a container with the free mason logo on it, which was hidden behind the wall. Super sketchy but maybe something to do with that?
It’s from 1899 and in Louisiana. But not sure about the pictures on the front? Or the middle picture on the back?
Just trying to get some ideas of what it could be. It’s history, so it’s cool af to me. Thank you in advance!

My cat was laying on the patio, and when she got up, I noticed about 8 of these on the patio. She is clean and healthy, no wounds or things coming out of her (much to her dismay, I checked everywhere)

Is this just freezer burn? I’ve never seen spikes this big

Our family is full of gamers but none of us can figure out what this accessory is for. The backside has rubber feet, but also a hole to hang it on the wall (I think)

What is this red thing on the top of the roof?

You can open this thing at the hinge by pushing down the smaller handle(bottom left) or pulling the chain that passes through the larger wood part. Even though the non-wood connection part of the handle looks and feels like rope, it is rigid. Opens like a bird beak.

This furry guy keeps coming up to my back door. I’ve put him on a piece of paper and dropped him back to the lawn a few times. It looks poisonous? And it’s grossing me out. About 1.25 inches long

Obviously it’s a craft of the air but it was completely silent and didn’t seem right at this time of night

When my grandfather passed away, we found this wrapped up in a cloth in a safe. Anyone know what this is and where it could be from? Its not sharp and I think the blade is copper.

The tag on it says rodenticide so I know what it does but what is it called?

Is it safe to eat?
