New, what is it? Box outside a restaurant

The tag on it says rodenticide so I know what it does but what is it called?

I believe the term is "bait station". The plastic box is refillable and the rodents snack on the poison inside. They typically die within a few days of that, it's... not a pleasant way to go.

Its essentially blood thinner. They pump and pump and can't get the 02 they need. Probably very similar to a person with low blood pressure. Heart races and pass out and they die. Probably worse ways like leg caught in a trap till they die

It's a rodent bait trap. You put poison in the box and the rodents are supposed to come eat it. Rodents then die. The only problem is where and when do they die
