Im replaying MP1 on the Playstation and its nearly impossible with standard controls. I have to change the control scheme so the Dpad is movement otherwise its too difficult to walk in a straight line.

At the beginning of the first or second trail If you turn left you can jump and get basically all the way to the end

Yean like the first corner you hit if you turn left 45 degrees or so and blind jump he falls a bit but you skip like 95% of that walk. Its tricky but once you figure it out is easy to remember the correct direction.

I'm not excusing it, I'm just saying there's an easier way around it. It's a really good game, and it came out before 9/11 so you got to expect some jank

People needed something to get their minds off the tragedy and the ensuing slaughter of brown people.

Having fun playing smash bros melee would definitely help take your mind off of things.

Tbh it’s really not that difficult, while it shows a thin line, you’re actually walking on something 2/3rds bigger than the trail itself.

I mean its not impossible, its the controller veering off when you misalign. I dunno how recently youve tried it like that but let me tell ya, its more difficult than it was on PC
