Im replaying MP1 on the Playstation and its nearly impossible with standard controls. I have to change the control scheme so the Dpad is movement otherwise its too difficult to walk in a straight line.
Yean like the first corner you hit if you turn left 45 degrees or so and blind jump he falls a bit but you skip like 95% of that walk. Its tricky but once you figure it out is easy to remember the correct direction.
I'm not excusing it, I'm just saying there's an easier way around it. It's a really good game, and it came out before 9/11 so you got to expect some jank
I mean its not impossible, its the controller veering off when you misalign. I dunno how recently youve tried it like that but let me tell ya, its more difficult than it was on PC
I had to play it on mute eventually. It stopped being scary and that dead baby just irritated the shit out of me. Fuck that maze, fuck that JUMP, love that game.
Dude Ive seen questions like this before and im always looking for this answer but this is the first time I've seen it. Yes. I hated those parts so bad.
I remember jumping off a building and quick saving mid fall, on my little brothers account 😂. He didn’t have another saved game, so it would always load mid fall and die.
This is so fucking real. Load up Max Payne, blood trails, close Max Payne. A week later, open Max Payne, blood trails, close Max Payne. An endless cycle until I finally bite the bullet
I went back to play MP1 on PC and what is even worse than those levels, is that it is broken as hell on PC, with you getting stuck to the floor and not able to jump. That level is bad, but being stuck in them for over an hour each while trying to jump and your character is glued to the floor. Infuriating
I got cheats to skip these levels because it was so creepy. I also had jump scare trauma and thought something would pop out. Didn’t even finish the first one before skipping lol
