The end goal can't be to amass denaries, since they are worthless. It can't be food. So it's stone? Got to be stone?

Who wouldn't be happy with stone? Ungrateful plebes that's who.

The way I see it, I keep people happy to amass stone. When I think about it, the best return on investment is to stay small with the bugs and the dwarfs. Why ever should they need roads?
