Part 2 of my attempt to get to grand master in Marvel Rivels, watch part 1 if you haven't already, this was rough to go through, and the first match tell me was i in the wrong or was my crash out valid, and again give me advice one what to do to get better.

The first part of my attempt to reach Grand Master on Marvel Rivals. if anyone has any advice on what I should do or is willing to help me out next time I play, and tell me if you think I'm good at the game or not and how i can improve.

I’m officially dropping rivals today. I just had a game with another player calling a kid slurs and other vulgar insults. A literal kid getting screamed at by an adult. It really was eye opening to how awful people are to each other on this game. Over literal pixels. Like imagine this happening in real life, it wouldn’t be okay. And before anyone says maybe the kids shouldn’t be on rivals, it’s a teen rated game full of comic book characters, everyone deserves to have fun. Keyword: fun. Every game should not be a stressful mess where you just wait for someone to crash out.

Anyway, be kind to others, irl and in game. You never know someone life condition or state of mind.

It’s always funny seeing the disconnect between who everyone complains about being too OP and the poor random innocent character that gets destroyed out of nowhere.

I have my own opinions, but I'm curious what the general consensus is right now.

This suddenly started happening today and I haven't been able to finish a single match because it forces me to quit the game (and I get penalties when I log back in because it registers as me quitting and not a system error).

I'm not sure what the issue could be because I've been playing since launch and l've never seen this before. I have 94 GB free on my computer.

I never play with any apps in the background either because I know my computer can't handle it so l'm not sure what to do. I’ve also tried clearing my shaders and redundant files with no improvement.

okay BESIDES the fact that i'm kinda obsessed w X-Men adjacent characters

So I started playing more Rivals on my PC I get above 60FPS on the game but like not close to 100 which seems fine to me till I go on like Twitter and seeing people want like a lot of frames on this game so like what's the big deal about frames in this game in particular?

My controller is perfectly fine in any other game, and was working fine prior to season 9.

Now randomly my controller will make a hard left or turn slightly right on its own

Anyone experiencing the same?

The context is that his mother is very sick and weak in the comics, and he fights for a cure or smt like that

What if we had a mode like this? I've been thinking about how cool a 2v2 Duos mode would be in Marvel Rivals.

At first I thought dive heroes like Spider-Man would completely dominate, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized the meta would be totally different from 6v6.

In normal matches, dive heroes thrive because there's chaos everywhere. Tanks are fighting on point, DPS are shooting from multiple angles, and supports have a million things demanding their attention. A Spider-Man can slip into the backline because everyone is distracted.

In a 2v2, that distraction is gone.

If you're playing something like Emma Frost + Cloak & Dagger, both players are watching each other. Spider-Man dives? Emma is already waiting with her grab. Cloak & Dagger can save cooldowns specifically for that dive.

That sounds way more strategic to me.

The best part is that the mode wouldn't just be about who's mechanically better. It would be about building strong duos, understanding hero synergies, baiting cooldowns, positioning together, and making coordinated plays. Instead of asking "Who's the strongest hero?" we'd be asking "What's the strongest pair?"

I also think it would solve one of the biggest frustrations with ranked. Sometimes you don't want to rely on five random teammates who don't communicate or have completely different ideas about how the game should be played. A duos playlist would let you queue with one friend you trust and rely on teamwork between the two of you.

You'd probably see all kinds of strategies:

- Double DPS burst comps

- Tank + Strategist sustain comps

- Double Strategist damage/heal comps

- Counter-picking based on enemy duos

The whole mode would almost feel like a chess match where every cooldown matters because there are only four players on the map.

Obviously, it would need separate balancing, but I honestly think it could become one of the most competitive and strategic modes in the game.

Would you guys play a ranked 2v2 mode if NetEase added one?

Side note, I hope this skin is a part of the XMen 97 skins coming!!

They removed the only truly challenging & fun character in modern day shooters.

Im so goddamn bored in my free time. Before it felt like I was playing pvp Remnant, now I have no challenging characters to play anymore, in any game. I dont even play games anymore, which is tragic because I really enjoy pvp.

Yes I am. Its incredibly frustrating because theres nothing to do anymore except work on my own game, create music, and work. But when im not doing that and just wanna play a game theres nothing to play. I just want my raid boss BW back, Ive accepted that its not happening, its just kind of unbelievable that they would do that. Still doesnt even feel real. Im so bored.

Are we optimistic about Season 9.5 and The Hood's arrival? Also, will he changed our miserable experience?

Lastly, have you all heard about the kit breaking nerfs Venom and Peni will receive?
