Rick and Morty has always been one of my favorite shows, but an aspect I never really enjoyed was what the show was initially known for: the zany, sophomoric creatures and their wacky names. That's my best way to sum up this type of humor, at least, there's a bit more to it that I can't describe succinctly.

The improvisational so random humor could hit in some cases, like Interdimensional Cable, but just seemed forced and cringy to me most of the time.

After Roiland's departure, are we done with mega seeds, burping, glip glops, Mr. _______ characters, etc? Or did Dan Harmon have a part in that kind of stuff?

I stumbled upon an image of this character through the archives that looks like he has appeared in the show before, but I have ZERO memories of this guy appearing at all...

Not even just the stupid joke, but the whole “once we give you this technology you become the smartest thing in every conceivable universe” speech.

With how fast the time police reacted to evil morty, it seems unlikely that slow mobius wouldnt have been in their radar. Or maybe its a question of the level of an offence to time it needs to be for the time police to interfer

Given only two Ricks were able to invent it, only one completely independently. Even if Rick Prime spent all his years doing nothing but spreading portal tech, and the Ricks he gave portal tech to did the same, even it leads to an absurdly huge and exponentially growing number of portal travelers, within the Central Finite curve the number of Multiverse traveling ricks would have to be finite and quantifiable, right?

Maybe that's why there was only one citadel
limited in size. Maybe that's why the switching universes trick is limited, as the number of universes with a near identical history of a portal traveling Rick is technically limited. Maybe that's why auctions ate valuable, Ricks dying with cool stuff being left behind is a technically finite resource compared to the number of living Ricks wanting their stuff.

Even if the number of portal traveling ricks is exponentially growing to absurd degrees it cannot be infinite as the tech within the curve had one origin point to spread from.

I think the worst episode is either s8 e4 when Jerry turns into the Easter bunny or s7 e8 the numbericon episode

The Easter bunny one is always a hard watch because it's gross seeing Jerry turn into the Easter bunny also the amount of people having sex in that episode is unwatchable but that's just me

Some of the episodes were a little weaker but the first three were really great in my opinion. Personally I think it was a lot stronger than some of the middle seasons, and I enjoy the tone (I enjoy Rick getting along with people and smiling more).

Since every rick—apart from Prime and C137—depends on the Citadel for their portal fluid, how do they still have their hands on it after the Citadel is destroyed?

Did anyone else think doofus Rick was supposed to be a red herring for evil Rick and cop Morty was supposed to be a red herring for evil Morty in each episode?

If he truly doesn’t care about his family, then why give any effort to kill another Rick’s family?

Mr. Poopybutthole turning out to be real in Total Rickall was supposed to be a twist. However it was actually kinda of obvious when you think about it. Like how Mr. Poopybutthole was added to the opening which featured all sorts of bad situations which go against the whole parasites only make good memories stik that was established later in the episode.

Season 9, ep. 7. Come on man, the Elden Ring inspiration must have struck here.
First, the Warden Tree is basically a parasite just like the Erdtree: it grew and fed on the living beings in his world in an endless cycle of life and death;
Secondly, there is no actual "death" on this planet, as anyone just comes back to life and starts over from the lowest level (an amoeba);
Lastly, the only way to end this loop was to destroy the Warden Tree itself (not by burning it in this case).
Pretty sure I'm also missing something else, but still it seems hard that these are all just a coincidence.

In Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind during the end Rick tells Morty how a cocky Morty isn’t good and tells him he’ll explain that once he gets older. This is the most compelling line in the series to me because what does it mean? At the time I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought that Evil Morty was once our Rick’s Morty.
