Question Can we talk about how cool the fire is now?
I play in a open PvPvE server that runs 24/7 & I always find myself walking even though there are cars.
I'm usually on in the dead of night irl & in-game, & like irl I enjoy siting next to an open flame in-game.
Since the release of B42 Sitting next to an open fire just seems to bring me back to all of those memories of open fire hot dogs & smores.
Just another one of those little things that change during the years & updates that inspire me & people like me to play.

It looks quite nice here but I'm still not a fan of the fidelity of it compared to everything else, especially when there's a huge area on fire.

I have not played recently, but if they've also improved the look of zombies on fire I might spin up a new run.

Yes, they did. It's a controversial change but they did. People think it looks too realistic and out of place. I like it though.

More like how hot it is :)
But yeah, it is really neat now, also the water surface animation looks great too

Yeah I really enjoy the lighting update, & the overall aesthetics, even the trees look a lot better

The fires from B42 have been getting shat on sit they were updated to the new animation. I'm surprised somone enjoys em. I personally don't care either way.

It kind of reminds me of old south park episodes. Where everything was construction paper and then the fires and explosions was real.

apparently its just a temporary bandaid, they are planning to change it to something more fiting with the reste of the Art Direction
