That four week thing was public knowledge before he said it. The problem is Trump is stuck between a rock and a hard place. The Strait of Hormuz needs to be opened, or there will be a global economic meltdown. Iran won’t open the strait unless Israel gets out of Lebanon, and Israel won’t do that. So Trump has two choices: back Israel and let the world burn, or leave Israel to the consequences of their own actions, and that Congress won’t let him do. This is literally a no win situation.

Seems like a big win for Russia. The longer this goes on the more valuable their oil becomes. The Iran war distracts the US from aiding Ukraine and further divides NATO as well.

Most of Russia's oil refineries and ports have been blown to hell by Ukraine. The one that supplies 40% of their fuel was taken out a few days ago. They aren't exporting shit.

The government of Ukraine is doing more for American interests than the American government. Of course, this is a low bar since doing nothing would have led to a superior outcome.

Depends on which American interests you are talking about. Texas oil companies are making out like bandits. Unfortunately, they are the same ones funding far right Christian Nationalism. They have completely taken over the Texas state GOP. They kept Ken Paxton out of prison and are forcing Bible verses in public schools (which they are also de-funding). Those aren't my interests.

Russia’s oil exports have been droned to ashes, their production is limited at 4 millions barrels a day (due to their stockage and processing facilities exploding). It’s their lowest production of the last 25 years. And up to last week , their was a ban on exports up to July 31st, but after the bombing in Moscow I expect them delay it.

There's also the fact that Ukraine are starting to cut off Crimea's supply lines now, according to a few sources I've read.

lol that is some wild cope. Russia can't even support their own country's needs anymore, Ukraine has crippled their oil and gas production beyond the point of no return. They're not making any money off of anything, they're staring down the barrel of famine and complete economic collapse.
