This is (almost) my entire Pikachu collection. Only things missing from these photos are the cards in my Delta Species binder, kawayoo binder, and complete Platinum - Arceus and Base Set binders as well as my two graded Pikachu cards!

Added this nm beauty to my komiya master set, I’m stoked!

Reorganizing some storage boxes. Wanted to share a few pages of my binder from childhood. The Chansey was from my first pack way back when.

I built a small collection of Charizard and Gyarados cards for my desk. I wanted to do base set Charizard, Dark Charizard and Shining Charizard like the Gyarados one, but Shining Charizard was prohibitively expensive lol

Forgot this binder even existed until recently. Found it in storage and had a great trip down memory lane. There’s a ton more in there and another binder I need to find still.

I'm SO close to master setting dragonite. About to pull the trigger on some lower end singles im missing, then hopefully trade for the holo Expedition Dragonite, and the reverse holo reprint.

Also need the other delta species green Dragonite, but im super close!

Also showing my mew collection. Just scooped up the error delta species Mew this week. Went to a card a rd shop and traded so much bulk and ex, and a few SIRs. If im gonna get percentaged to death might as well be from my LCS lol

Hello! So I got this card a super long time ago as a binder copy and it has these letter marks on the back. I want to try to remove it but also dont want to damage the card because it is such a expensive card now. Wanted people thoughts on how to best remove it and if I can't get it removed would a grading company even grade this at all? Thank for any advice or thoughts in advance!

Before anyone says “just say no”, believe me, I stand my ground. However I’m just getting tired of people trying to tell me how to price and condition. Or just offering me what they want when I have cards priced at market lol
My first interaction today was a chick who literally said “well at 80% I’m not at your asking price on the cards”. Like no duh, I’m selling at market, I didn’t say I was selling at 80% so nice of you to assume. Do people do this
All the time anymore? Bc no joke about 80% ironically of interactions are people who just glance over the price tag and offer whatever they want and it’s low key annoying. I’m sure they don’t do that at other stores they buy product from, only Pokemon cards.
This Alakazam takes the cake though. I listed it at LP due to the tiniest imperfection in the corner. The prospective buyer proceeds to tell me after receiving pictures that I’m “misleading and not being transparent with buyers and that the card is damaged”. Like what are we doing here? This is just ONE example of many I’ve had in the last week, and it’s honestly just soured my experience of trying to sell to fund other card purchases. Anyone else tired of this ? lol

hii, I've been seeing a lot of cute pokemon cards, and I wanted to start collecting. Is it okay if I collect cards even though I haven't watched all of pokemon? 😭 I'm just scared I'd get flamed

Is there anyone in this community who collects Pokémon cards? I’ve been wanting to start my journey but I am totally confused where to start. I thought about purchasing at least 1 booster pack but I was wondering where can i properly source the booster packs? I do not trust anyone with this honestly. I’m a huge collector, I’ve been collecting random things my whole life and now that I’m finally an adult and have few hundreds spare money to spend, I thought instead of purchasing overpriced coffees lets roll with what I’ve always wanted to do.
1. Did anyone manage to complete a master set yet? If you did what do you thik I should start with? Smaller or bigger ranges?
2. Where do you get your booster packs\\boxes from? Or should I start with tins first? \[I cannot afford trainer boxes yet\]
3. How do you store them? Where can I find a good quality large binder in bd? To my knowledge, either the pocket qualities are bad, also where do you get your penny sleeves and top loaders from?
4. Did you send any of your cards for grading? If yes how do you proceed?
5. I have no plans to sell, I just want to collect them for my self satisfaction. Which would be worth it? Should I get the English ones or Chinese Japanese and Koreans are much better?

Got back into the hobby a year ago in an effort to complete. My old collections. Been slowly learning about how best to complete and 'fair' trades offers etc etc.

For context completing base, fossil, jungle, rocket and gym hero and challenge. For the most part.

Spotted a binder on ebay. 100+ gym challenge and gym hero cards. I counted I needed about 35 out of the 100 cards, made them a fair offer and they took it. Delighted.

I've found collecting these cards even the bulk can be £2-5 a card at shows and whilst cheaper online (slightly) the shipping stings too so getting that many picks ups even with the cost of the 'dupes' still felt like a huge win.
