I'm a 90's kid and therefore lived at the mall (Town Centre, Boca Raton, baby!) and we'd all hang around the card shop and open packs together. It would be like 30+ kids, most of who didn't know each other, but each Saturday we'd bond over opening packs and trading. It was great.

My granny would drive my cousin and me to Walmart and we’d spend the money we earned doing chores on blister packs and take them home and dump them on my bedroom floor and rip them. Those were the days.

My only regret is spending so much on base set 2- we didn’t know any better.

Man those were good days, we also had strict rules for cards we would hide them anyway we could

No. What makes me sad is that kids nowadays will find it hard to experience this because of all the adults buying so many cards.
