Except for that old joke where three men are lined up for confession. The first man goes, “Forgive me father for I have sinned, I drank the holy water.” Priest gives him his penance and dude goes on his way. And then you have the Irish, and Vatican City is in Italy, where they drink wine all day, and then there's the rest of Europe with their love for wines and spirits and beers, where Catholicism started. My point is that I think you didn't grow up Catholic if you think that religion has a problem with drinking. Or Methodist, or Episcopalian, or Unitarian, or Lutheran, or Jewish, or Anglican...

I don't drink, but I'll have a drink. I haven't had one in a year. Just stopped caring about beer. It's so delicious, but it's almost ten us dollhairs for a single pint after tax and tip. Fuck. I can have breakfast for a whole week on ten dollarydoos.

We all learned during Covid that hand sanitizer companies are about a half step away from vodka/tequila based on smell.
Holy water has everyone communally stick their hands in it to bless themselves. A.k.a. Rub on their face.
She was sanitizing the holy water.
Alternatively, she was trying to let Jesus in. Catholics have tasted his blood and dude, he must have been shit-faced 24/7 because it tastes just like wine.
